My mom and I went for lunch today. Took over an hour for a tiny hamburger. Everyone around was served before us, left before us. Will NEVER return or tell anyone to go there!
My husband and I eat here a couple of times a month. Food and service always good.
The food is good if you can get on time , and the service is extremely slow. We tried to get our dad a refill of coke and had to go to the back with the glass. There I found all but one server huddled up most of them vaping. I asked if I could get a refill and they just looked at me funny. Would not recommend this place

Sweetpea's Southern Cookin' offers wonderful home-style southern cooking served by some of the sweetest people in the area. The food is delicious southern style food, with a menu to savor over. Meals include Country Fried Steak with Sweet Potato Casserole made in Southern Grandma's Style, Creamed Corn, Greens, and Mashed Potatoes using real taters. The fried catfish filet is a Friday lunch special, cornmeal coated and not greasy, with 2 sides of choice for around $11.50 including a drink. Other options include pork chop with gravy, chicken livers with an unusual but delicious breading, turnip greens, and cornbread. The food is excellent with large portions and reasonable prices. Everyone from the owners to the bussers, the lady at the register, and the waitresses are all very pleasant and friendly. This is a casual diner type restaurant located in the heart of Bartlett, Tennessee. Best to park around the back of the building. Great service and great value make this a stop for authentic southern cooking.
