I was SO glad to see them back up and running after a pause. I go for the turnip greens mainly, but the food reminds of my grandmother and h er sisters making soul food when I was little in Shelby Forest. It's the real deal!
I wasnt playing around with lunch today. I went hard. ?????. BBQ pork chop, smoked neck bone, cabbage, cornbread and mash potatoes. I'm about to go into a coma frfr. #SoulFoodThe service was amazing and the owner made me feel like family. I fully intend on putting on some LB's considering how close it is to my house. Everything was and/or looked delicious.

I had the pleasure of dining at Willie Mae's in Memphis Tn, On August 31 2022, I was thoroughly impressed with the food . The chittlins reminded me of my mommas in Rosedale Mississippi. The cornbread was firm yet moist, the Collard greens were on the money ,just enough sweetness and pepper to create an awesome flavorprofile. The Macaroni and cheese was baked to perfection, just cheesy goodness. I don't do shout outs, but if I did Willie Mae's gets my vote!
