I had the pleasure of dining at Willie Mae's in Memphis Tn, On August 31 2022, I was thoroughly impressed with the food . The chittlins reminded me of my mommas in Rosedale Mississippi. The cornbread was firm yet moist, the Collard greens were on the money ,just enough sweetness and pepper to create an awesome flavorprofile. The Macaroni and cheese was baked to perfection, just cheesy goodness. I don't do shout outs, but if I did Willie Mae's gets my vote!
My husband and I just left! I told him let’s do a good ole soul food eatery! Not modern, but authentic soul food!!!! Jesus! We didn’t even make it to the light! When we did make it to the light, we took the wrong street because we were trying to eat!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Y’all can cook over there frfr!!!! We will be back!!! Trust that!!!!

I had the pork chop plate with cabbage and sweet potatoes it was absolutely delicious and for was hot and fresh I totally recommend this place!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
