“While traveling near Jonesboro, Arkansas we wanted a local restaurant for lunch. We found Chef’s In and decided to give it a try. The staff were friendly and helpful. The other customers were so welcoming, especially when they realized we were not from Jonesboro but just passing through. As fellow southerners (we are from Alabama) we appreciated the hospitality shown The food was hot, plentiful, so many choices and tasty. I really enjoyed the peach cobbler and spouse enjoyed the German chocolate cake“

“I love the food and the servers are nice/ good at what they do and the restaurant is always so clean! However, recently i found not one but two hairs in my food. I also noticed that no one was wearing any braids, hair in buns, or even hair nets.
Don’t get me wrong, i loved the food but did not want to Finnish my grape salad after finding 2 hairs in my food… i don’t mind coming back because i do enjoy the food but next time i visit i am checking the food before consumption… please wear hair nets or tie up the hair so that it doesn’t get into the food… it seems like someone with white or blond hair lost some in my food… l have brown hair so it’s not mine x(“

“We originally were looking for pizza, but we walked in it was a shock, the store was extremely clean and well organized and the food looked mouth watering! Friends got the chicken strip and was in awe. I ended up choosing the triple Chipotle bacon cheeseburger and was not disappointed!! Absolutely mouth-watering!! Best part was one of the workers hand makes the Chipotle and ranch!!! Will definitely be coming back!!“

“I've never had near-fine-dining in a gas station before, but there's a first time for everything! The people were SO NICE and helpful, and the food was excellent!

They have everything from crispitos and pizza sticks, to fajitas with street corn casserole. Prices are very reasonable!“

“Food was good and waitress was great. I gave it a 4 because my favorite is the Buffalo Chicken wrap and it had NO Buffalo sauce! They said they couldn't put as much as they used to. This wrap had NONE!

Update from last week, it was atrocious! Table was dirty, food was lukewarm, no complementary croissant. It was bad!
The server was the only person they had for the bar and about 6 tables, she was working hard but if it's like that next time I go back, I will just get up and leave!

UPDATE: From today 5/1/2026... My wife had a gift card so she wanted to try Cheddars again. Same story, severely understaffed! Got my Buffalo Chicken Wrap and it was cold, my broccoli was cold. The manager was Great, got me fresh HOT food and comped my meal. My wife's was lukewarm but she just ate hers. Again no complimentary crossouant after the waitress said she was going to get them.
They need servers I guess?

UPDATE: 9/18/2026 PUT THE COLESLAW BACK ON THE BUFFALO CHICKEN WRAPPER, ASAP!
Food was brought quickly, hot and tasty, but I didn't know you have to ask for coleslaw to be put on BCW now... Bummer!“

“Really disappointing lunch today. I was never served my food after waiting for almost an hour. I even noticed that they started to serve customers that ordered after me. Unfortunately. I had to ask for a refund and go back to work with no lunch. Their food is usually good, I just don't recommend them if you have any time constraints.“
