Yall needa stop griping about prices, and go to the store and get a salad that is like 1/3 the size of these $15 salads and be happy that your spending $5 less for 1/3 the meal and nasty packaged salad that doesnt taste near as good as this... “Ordered the smoked turkey breast and cinnamon rolls for thanksgiving. Definitely recommend. The turkey fed 10 adults, 3 children, some had seconds, and we even had leftovers! Cinnamon rolls are HUGE and great for a holiday breakfast.“

“Liz was my bartender tonight, and my goodness are her drinks tasty! I got a White Russian and told her that not many people make good ones, and she assured me that hers are yummy. It was 100000/10! She is super knowledgeable about the menu and knows what she’s doing behind that bar. Even though she was super busy she always checked on me especially after she made my drinks and dropped off my food. And for the food— I got the Shrimp Sedona Pasta, but was unsure about my choice since I didn’t want something so heavy. Liz informed me that it was a light pasta dish with a flavorful ancho butter sauce that paired well with the shrimp, and she hit the nail on the head. The only issue I had with the dish is that they gave me 3 tiny shrimps with it. But it was delicious nonetheless.“

“We are from Joplin, MO, and came to visit family and take time off for my wife's birthday. The family had to work but recommended Whistle Stop. We drove over for breakfast and are so glad we did. One of their customer's was on his way out & I asked how he liked the Café. He said he was 90 years old and came here every morning. He had many good things to say about the restaurant food, service, and cleanliness. His recommendation was right on target. The restaurant was super clean from front to back. The waitress was so kind and attentive to our needs. She brought the pancakes out on a special plate for my wife's birthday and even sang to her. The food was made from scratch and over-the-top delicious. The owner came out and visited with us before we left. We are not in the area very often, but we will return to this hidden gem when we can.“

“We decided to try something new for breakfast Sunday after church. The Parsonage is the old downtown area in jonesboro. It had a really neat vibe to it. On walking up there is an outside eating area with a doggy door, so dogs can join in but not go through the restaurant. The decor inside was old retro and had a warm feel to it.
We ordered a toad in a hole made with their own sourdough bread and chopped ham under the egg served with county style potatoes. We also ordered a breakfast bowl called the Bishops bowl. Both were very good. The service staff was very friendly and quick. There was a mix up where they brought the wrong order to our table instead of the table next to us. They were quick to make that right.
The prices were fair for the portion and the portions were just right. We will definitely recommend them and be back again soon.“

“Im always down for some Texas Roadhouse for our weekend family night since we always have a great time unfortunately last time we decided to get the family chicken tender meal for takeout. My husband took a bite of his chicken which after chewing it for a bit he discovered something sharp and hard, he managed to take the food out of his mouth to find a piece of glass or plastic. We of course stopped eating our food due to being worried there would be more pieces, i decided to email them as i would figure it would be handled within a timely manner considering they were packed when we picked up our food. Its been a few days and i have yet to get a response back from them. I sent a follow up email today so I am hoping this is resolved soon.“

“A large group of us visited recently. They had a nice private dining area. We had mixed reviews on the food. I enjoyed the eggrolls. They looked burned, but they weren't. My husband gave the Jack burger and the loaded mashed potatoes a thumbs up. No complaints about the fish and chips or the chicken strips. But, one person who ordered the chicken Alfredo said her pasta was cold and the sauce lacked any flavor at all. Our server was very nice. It was really hard for him to be as attentive a he probably would liked to have been, because there was another party in the next room. But, overall it was good. We certainly would give them another try.“

No chairs were kicked at anyone (especially not by that particular server....if you know you know) this lady went nuts on the entire staff...lol because she wasn't allowed to keep the actual servers ticket. Kept saying but home depot gives us receipts.....everytime I go near home depot I can hear this lady's tantrum in my head....night shift and early morning waitresses are abrasive and rude most of the time. I prefer the middle afternoon waitresses Samantha (?) And Megan (?) I hope I got their names right. Very nice girls that take pride in the job“

“I made up with a friend of mine and her brother the other day. We got the two-piece fish with two sides, it comes with coleslaw, pickles, onions, you can request tartar sauce. It was $9.99 plus taxes. It was really good. Everything in there looked fresh and the people serving the food were very nice.“

“My fiance and I ate there yesterday afternoon and it was wonderful! we both had the 7 oz sirloin cooked medium. it was so tender, juicy, so well seasoned and cooked to perfection.. I had a strawberry smoothie and it was so good. we will definitely be back. our waitress was really nice also.“

“This is a nice little place to shoot pool at, just wish the smoking section had a way to filter the smoke. It does get a little too smoky in the smoking pool room as the night goes on. It is away from the main bar which is non-smoking with two tables witch was already taken up.“

“My husband works here, so I get to go quite a bit. All the servers are awesome, customers are chill, and the food is delicious! I haven't had anything i didn't like. And the drinks! While some drinks could be a bit stronger, they're still delicious.

And for these reviews saying the place is loud and noisy, NO DUH! It's a SPORTS BAR! It's gonna be loud! It's got drunk people cheering for sports. If you can't deal with it, then go home. Don't leave a bad review.

Favorites so far: street tacos, chicken nachos (it may be an appetizer, but its a full meal), and the mushroom swiss burger.“
