GEE STREET KITCHEN is a hidden gem. This amazing place has an old school diner feel full of regulars from the community. The folks are kind and cheery, and the staff are attentive and polite. The food is home-style comfort with a twist of Southern. The menu includes daily plate lunches and daily specials. Meals like Salisbury steak, a cheeseburger, banana pudding, philly cheese steak combo, gyro combo, fish plates, onion rings, fries, desserts, mash potatoes and gravy, meatloaf, and fried chicken are available. The fish and burgers are fantastic. Everything is fresh and very good, and the amount and quality of food with the $10.99 plate special cannot be beat. Portions are generous, prices are very affordable, and the price is right. The best burger you will find anywhere is here. Personal favorite is Fish on Friday. The greens were not seasoned but nothing a little hot sauce didn't fix. Would recommend GEE STREET KITCHEN to anyone looking for a taste of southern hospitality. Support this local business.
