“We loved everything about the place cause when we went there was only one guy at the bar and we had the entire pool area to ourselves!!! No competition and no smell of smoke. No intoxicated individual. We went during a weekday for a late date night with my hubby and it was perfect! They even have a jukebox!!! That was one of my favorites! Plus, the pool tables were only $.75 which is unbelievable!!! You'll definitely need quarters ?, but worth it! The owner was very nice and changed our cash for quarters.Other places are expensive and the atmosphere isn't as chill as this place. We enjoyed it so much! I would definitely go here during the week again, knowing it isn't super crazy.We didn't try any food, didn't seem like that kind of place. We just got a soda. But overall, this place was very nice.“
“Just had a really good cheeseburger here! Cheese sticks were also good. I ate there months ago but it was much better today. Everyone else got steak and they were all happy as well. Lava cake was good but a scoop of ice cream really would have set it off nicely!“
“Took the opportunity of visiting this bar based on the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised that the local (natives) were a lot of fun and very friendly as noted in other reviews, bar staff as always were wonderful, cheerful and happy which is a great asset to the bar itself, although it seems dated from the outside it does contain a lot of fun inside I would recommend a visit, definitely.The chicken wings were awesome the Philly cheesesteak was also great, it’s good bar food!! The silverware I was told was locked away so finger food was the order of the day, it’s definitely dated but that’s the charm about the place, you can feel at home!! So please please visit the place, trying anything on the menu as I feel you you will not be disappointed.“
“The Mississippi Ale House has a great selection of locally made beer. The selection frequently changes, which is great for trying something new! They also offer flights, which allows you to try the beer out without commitment. I don’t believe they themselves offer food, but there is a neighboring pizza place. We buy pizza from there and then sit at the Ale House! They have trivia nights and live music, too.“
