“Scotty’s catered our wedding last weekend and people have not stopped raving about the food!They were wonderful to work with to coordinate our dinner selection and all of Scotty’s staff was so kind and helpful the night of the wedding. They were also super accommodating for one of my bridesmaids who has a handful of dietary restrictions and made sure food was provided for her.I loved coordinating our dinner menu with them. They even placed food in the bridal suite for my husband and I to have after the wedding in private so we actually got to eat that evening as well boxed some up for us to go. Also, their buffet display is incredible as well.You will not be disappointed!”

“Once upon a time long ago, this area was a small town. This restaurant still remains "small town" in every aspect and that is not a bad thing, The menu can be overwhelming but it is worth taking the time and effort. Everything I have ever eaten from here is good. The polar bears remind me of the ice cream shop that was a treat and iconic landmark.”

“We’ve gone 3 times in the last month probably, and have had a great experience each time. I don’t like the rotating menu, which is one reason it’s taken me so long to finally try them (in my household there are a variety of tastes, so sometimes someone can’t get cookies and I don’t like that) But I finally got my hands on one (free to me) and now I’m hooked. lol. The cookies are always fresh. Either nice and gooey all around or crunchy edges with a nice soft center.I’d love to see some dairy free cookies at some point though. Just saying.”

“We swung by this spot on our way out of town because it had been calling my name on Yelp, and it sure didn't let us down! The fried chicken was among the best I've ever tasted - perfectly spicy and oh-so-crunchy, just how you'd want it. The sides didn't disappoint either; we went for the fried pickles (heavenly!), mac and cheese, and fries. Regrettably, I didn't snap a photo of our feast, but trust me, it was spectacular. And the staff? Simply wonderful. Their smiles and helpfulness really made us feel right at home.”

“One and only has become our go to bbq place. The bbq is amazing - specifically the ribs according to my husband. The atmosphere is nice. Only down side is how loud the chairs are on the floor when you have kids who constantly move them lol. Last night my baby ate some macaroni from there and boom, slept 10 hours! “Area 51 has incredible ice cream. The staff is friendly and encouraged me to try a few flavors so I would have the best ice cream for me. I tried their hot toddy ice cream, the lemon icebox, the peanut butter and the Old Dominic Bourbon Butter Pecan and my favorite was the butter Pecan. I got two scoops and the cost was just over seven dollars. The place had a cool vibe tying in aliens and again, the staff were incredibly outgoing. I would definitely recommend Area 51 Ice Cream and when I am back in the Hernando, Mississippi area, I will definitely come back here. Overall, I have to give Area 51 Ice Cream five stars and applaud Area 51 Ice Cream for bringing great ice cream to Hernando, Mississippi. “My first time to visit El Maguey was delightful. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was good. “I have multiple food allergies, and the kitchen manager was happy to help me find something I would like and she felt confident she could safely make.The avocado toast and the iced latte I had were so very yummy. And she even came out to check on us after we ate to make sure I liked it and felt good.She expressed she is servesafe trained but that she could not guarantee there might not be cross contamination because all of my 8 allergies are not normal and used in their kitchen. So we worked to pick something that she felt confident she could do with little risk of cross contamination by using all fresh ingredients. They also have 2 kitchens and one was closed for the day so she said she would prepare it there for me.I really appreciated her going above and beyond so I could have an amazing lunch!My allergies: corn, coconut, honey, tomato, onion, ginger, cinnamon, mint”

“The few times we've been here, there is a line of folks waiting...but well worth it. Tonight was no exception. We came for the oysters but by the time we got a table and ordered, they didn't have a dozen left. But they had 5 left and the owner came to our table and offered them to us - free of charge. We hadn't even complained. Great ownership. He was there the entire time trying to make things run smoothly. High-5 to that guy, along with our sweet waitress and the hostesses. They have great patience. I hope The Parish can get a larger (or 2nd) location in the near future because they are succeeding. Oh, and the oysters were delicious!! The horseradish was the bomb!! Spicy ? Blackened grouper was cooked perfect.”

“Every detail about this place was outstanding. Our waiter, Blaze, gave us excellent suggestions: we tried the Pinnelli pasta, lasagna, garlic knots, veggie pizza, Caesar salad, and tiramisu. Delicious food, excellent service, great atmosphere. I only wish we lived closer so we could eat here regularly. We will return the next time we are in the area.”

“It was my first time trying "Memphis BBQ" and I can honestly say people in Memphis know what they're doing when it comes down to some good bbq, it took a while to get the food but it was worth the wait...I had the ribs with potatoe salad & baked beans...everything was as delicious as advertised...I will be visiting again!!! “My favorite coffee shop in Desoto County! The customer service is always great and there is always friendly faces. They offer some unique coffee drinks that you won’t find at other shops. The only thing I don’t like about Coffee Central is that they don’t have a drive thru! I think if they had one, I’d be there every day!”

“Well-known, local bakery shop with a delicious assortment of meals and breakfast all day. I had an avocado-chicken Cobb salad that was large and delicious. Staff are efficient and hustle. “Let me tell you, I waited way too long to review Crawfish Haven! They’re consistently so good! I am someone who only sometimes likes anything seafood but I’m always willing to eat here. The shrimp and grits is the best my whole family has ever had. My husband almost always tries shrimp and grits anywhere that has it on the menu and Crawfish Haven is always the standard comparison lol Some have come close but in the end no one else compares (this includes out of state travels)! In the past I’ve tried sausage poboy, boudin balls, Cajun shrimp plate, desserts…. It’s all a 10/10. Not to mention their wonderful customer service! Don’t hesitate to try this place out! I guarantee you it’s better than ANY surrounding seafood restaurants, they’re in a league of their own. :)”

“I went to Ferdinand’s Grill and BBQ today for lunch with friends from out of town. I was greeted at the door by friendly employees. There were six people in my group so the made us a table in the overflow room. Two of my group were senior citizens so it made the experience much more pleasant. Everything we ordered was extremely delicious. The catfish was exceptional. The nachos were excellent. I had the “stupid fries” it was more than I could eat. Did I mention the catfish? Delicious. If you get a chance to eat at Ferdinands you will not be disappointed. Thanks for a great dining experience.”

“Be aware that they add 18% tip to the bill for a party of 4. They don't post it. Our server almost got a double tip, as I usually don't look over the bill very closely. “What a great healthy restaurant to stop at for lunch. I had the vegetable panini and the house salad, both of which were excellent. The watermelon water was great as well, although a tiny bit sugary for my liking. I would've preferred an unsweetened version. The only hiccup was that I didn't receive any dressing on my salad and had to go back to the counter to ask, which seems like a strange omission. The space was cute and well-decorated, and the neighbourhood felt welcoming as well. I would definitely come back here.”
