“Our church, Calvary Baptist, had a FUN-entine Banquet there tonight. We had about 35 people there. The food, service and atmosphere were great. We all had a wonderful time. Our waitress, Ashley was on point. The food was delicious. We will be back.”

“Area 51 has incredible ice cream. The staff is friendly and encouraged me to try a few flavors so I would have the best ice cream for me. I tried their hot toddy ice cream, the lemon icebox, the peanut butter and the Old Dominic Bourbon Butter Pecan and my favorite was the butter Pecan. I got two scoops and the cost was just over seven dollars. The place had a cool vibe tying in aliens and again, the staff were incredibly outgoing. I would definitely recommend Area 51 Ice Cream and when I am back in the Hernando, Mississippi area, I will definitely come back here. Overall, I have to give Area 51 Ice Cream five stars and applaud Area 51 Ice Cream for bringing great ice cream to Hernando, Mississippi. “I have multiple food allergies, and the kitchen manager was happy to help me find something I would like and she felt confident she could safely make.The avocado toast and the iced latte I had were so very yummy. And she even came out to check on us after we ate to make sure I liked it and felt good.She expressed she is servesafe trained but that she could not guarantee there might not be cross contamination because all of my 8 allergies are not normal and used in their kitchen. So we worked to pick something that she felt confident she could do with little risk of cross contamination by using all fresh ingredients. They also have 2 kitchens and one was closed for the day so she said she would prepare it there for me.I really appreciated her going above and beyond so I could have an amazing lunch!My allergies: corn, coconut, honey, tomato, onion, ginger, cinnamon, mint”

“Brisket sandwich with jalapeños and raw onion was delicious. The only thing I’d change is to slice the onion instead of chopping it cause the chopped onion fell out too easy. The smoked bologna sandwich was also very good. The sides were very large portions. The fried okra was really good also. The slaw was ok. I’d definitely go back.”

“Love this coffee shop. Extremely nice and super helpful. The butter pecan dream I can't get enough of and I'm not a butter pecan person usually but the way they make it will have you addicted. I just tried their potato breakfast bowl and omgosh...... Amazing, so so good. My child asks me to stop all the time so they can get a kid coffee version of white chocolate mocha. “The few times we've been here, there is a line of folks waiting...but well worth it. Tonight was no exception. We came for the oysters but by the time we got a table and ordered, they didn't have a dozen left. But they had 5 left and the owner came to our table and offered them to us - free of charge. We hadn't even complained. Great ownership. He was there the entire time trying to make things run smoothly. High-5 to that guy, along with our sweet waitress and the hostesses. They have great patience. I hope The Parish can get a larger (or 2nd) location in the near future because they are succeeding. Oh, and the oysters were delicious!! The horseradish was the bomb!! Spicy ? Blackened grouper was cooked perfect.”

“Well-known, local bakery shop with a delicious assortment of meals and breakfast all day. I had an avocado-chicken Cobb salad that was large and delicious. Staff are efficient and hustle. Bakery has a great assortment, including a good assortment keto treats. Always worth a visit.Kid-friendliness: Kids' meals available.”

“Regardless if I get coffee or hot tea I am satisfied with the choice. A lot of times I will ask them to just make something good and I've never not liked it. It's always something different and something I wouldn't even think to choose for myself but it's always delicious. The staff is always super sweet and polite. My child loves getting kid frappes from them because they make them pretty, fun, and delicious. The banana nut muffin warmed is my go to and the chocolate is my runner up. Both delicious. Definitely a recommendation if you want to try a friendly place with a good quality local coffee shop”

“My new favorite pizza place! The pizza I've been looking for, for a long time! New York Style pizza. Big pizzas. A whole large will not fit in a fridge! Hugh foldable slices. The kinda pizza that when it's hot the cheese stretches out long, and the topping try to slide off. Best part to me is reheating what I couldn't finish later. I cook it in the broiler for a couple of minutes.....Mmmm...To me it just gets even better.Excellent staff are always polite and friendly. I'll be returning often.”

“I've been going to Mr. Chen's Kitchen for 22 years now. I love their buffet. It is small, but you get fresh food every few minutes. When not eating the buffet, I always order the Egg Foo Yung.”

“First time visitor, found them on google. Went on a Thursday afternoon around 2pm. They were out of the Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes which would have been my go to sides, so I got yams and squash with meatloaf. Everything was delicious! 10/10. I wish they were in Memphis. They would definitely have more business out there because they can cook. The best yams and meatloaf Ive ever had from a restaurant. The meal was very filling as well. Anytime I pass this area this will be my go to spot.”

“We stopped in here while enjoying a beautiful Saturday and just riding through the area. We were drawn to it by the "old school" look and the number of cars in the parking lot. The place was full and you could smell the smoke rolling! The staff were friendly and helpful- I chose the Jumbo cheeseburger plate with double fries and my husband had the BBQ sandwich plate with baked beans and fried green beans. We got our drinks and found a booth to sit in. I went to wash my hands and the bathroom was small, but the cleanest, neatest one I've seen in a long time! After several minutes our good was ready- it was hot and obviously cooked to order. The Jumbo cheeseburger was huge and came just like I ordered it- the fries were crispy. The BBQ was good, slaw was on the side, baked beans had BBQ in them and were really good. Fried green beans were good and came with Ranch dressing. The place was busy and crowded and everyone was nice- great small town feel. We were very happy with our lunch and this is a hidden gem! I highly recommend you go and enjoy it!”

“What a wonderful açaí bar! I stopped in for lunch traveling through was very impressed. The location is great with the inside being very well decorated and extremely clean. I was greeted at the counter by friendly faces. I tried a signature bowl with bananas, granola and honey which was wonderful and also a custom smoothie. What a great place with friendly faces!”

The refried beans were okay. The Spanish Rice needed salt and was cold. There was too much cilantro in the salsa. (Taste like soap to me). The guacamole was good”
