Area 51 ice cream is definitely a step above store bought and even chain ice cream. The creamy texture is perfect, and the flavors are unique. I wish the seasonal goat cheese and blackberry cobbler were around longer.
They have a nice selection of gourmet ice creams. It's a nice environment, parking is convenient. I got a taste of my wife's double dip. She had a scoop of brown sugar coconut and a scoop of salted caramel. It almost made me give up my diet. Sorry no pictures... the ice cream didn't stand a chance. If you are craving ice cream give stop in.

Area 51 has incredible ice cream. The staff is friendly and encouraged me to try a few flavors so I would have the best ice cream for me. I tried their hot toddy ice cream, the lemon icebox, the peanut butter and the Old Dominic Bourbon Butter Pecan and my favorite was the butter Pecan. I got two scoops and the cost was just over seven dollars. The place had a cool vibe tying in aliens and again, the staff were incredibly outgoing.
