We’ve come to this McDonald’s often. Yesterday my wife used the mobile app and just as she was getting in the drive through line it told her she couldn’t go there, and it directed her to a store 10 miles away.
Should have taken that advice today, too. We again used the app, and this time I was with her. We got to the window to get our receipt, and the poor girl there looked mortified. “We can’t fill your order.” “Why not?” I asked. “We can’t make your shake.” Oh. Shake machine is down, which might cause a minor eruption at home with my autistic kid but ok, he can deal. That should never mean they can’t fill the rest of our $50 order. “Just substitute a Diet Coke and we will be fine.” We pick up our order and start driving off, and discover they not only didn’t give us a Diet Coke in place of the shake, they took that whole meal off (a McDonaldland Meal). The rest of the order was ok. I drove back to the store and went in. The counter manager was confused; he wasn’t sure what to do either. The window manager stated that our order had rung out and they would have to ring us up again for the $15 meal we were charged for and didn’t get. Double charged? I waited about 5 minutes and finally got a bag, which had just the sandwich, no fries, no Diet Coke. No limited edition toy.
Sigh. C+ for effort. I’ll say this, they were extremely busy, but nobody should get the deer in the headlights look when they are ok with a straight substitution.

The best customer service experience I've had at a McDonald's, ever! Yes, the line was long, but the employee on the intercom was extremely lovely, and apologized for the wait. She used all of her manners and was very pleasant! Normally, I don't give to Ronald McDonald's house, but she was so excited about it today I did. More like her, please!!
Put extra lettuce on our light lettuce sandwich, put orange instead of lemon into our sweet tea causing an allergic reaction. Ignored us at the window for several minutes until a different employee came up and noticed that the window worker was not doing anything and assisted us with our order.

Since the tender age of 3 I have not tasted a global phenomenal sensation as the Mc Ice Cream cone 🍦 and unfortunately, that was the last time the machine worked. In what fathomable universe is McDonalds ever gonna be held accountable for the aggregious treatment of valued patrons; (i.e.) myself and millions of deprived former children around the world that had only a few years of the delectable snack aforementioned. If we can all come together and meet at this establishment, I know we can make a change in service because the incompetence exuding any service provider who denies a customer of that piece of something sweet, that sugar laden original cone should be prosecuted with extreme prejudice. P.S. For the ones in the back, cut that 'junt' on Ronald!

Someone needs to start checking cameras because they always forget some shit and say they did put stuff in the bag, had to repay twice for someone’s fault, like why would anyone want to steal fries and lie about it ?? Employees are always so rude about it too and ignore you.
