We parked our motorcycles at BB King's Museum and saw this restaurant across the street. We were hungry and walked over to lunch. We ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was as good as we have had. They make their own sauce, like most BBQ places and it was also very good. Treated well and reasonable service. Unique place, would have been fun to have been there during live music.
Thought we were going to a BBQ restaurant (misled by one of those "X best restaurants in..." websites) but were pleasantly surprised first by the menu, and then by the food. We had fried green tomatoes and onion rings for starters and both decided on the Grilled Shrimp entrees. The tomatoes and Shrimp were pronounced excellent. Note to future visitors - they have Shrimp Gnocchi on the menu, which I would try if I revisited. They had an outdoor patio for those of us concerned...
Ive passed by this place Literally hundreds of times over the years but I have never stopped and given it a try up until last night. Boy have I been missing out. The food was phenomenal. Nothing less than delicious. So good that I had to go back the next day and order again. Staff was super friendly, restaurant was very clean, atmosphere made me feel like I was in a pub in New Orleans. Slightly pricey but definitely worth your buck. Mmm yummy sums it up ?
