Delicious homemade food. Fresh food and the server was cheery. My sister enjoyed the dessert table - she tried several of the homemade pies. Lots of refills on sweet tea and a charming shop just next door. The artwork was fun and added to the charm. The owner came around to the tables and was just as delightful as the restaurant..
Amazing food. I got the Catfish Allison with rice while passing through and it was out of this world good! I highly recommend this place to anyone passing through the Mississippi Delta

Such a cute little spot in Indianola! The food was great, especially the bread and pies. The gift shop had such wonderful little items. Loved the atmosphere and everything about it!

Loved fresh salad and tomato Basil soup with broccoli salad. Just loved it. Very nice options if you are vegetarian.
Free hot breads are so flavorful, you might crave for them.

Assorted bread was delicious, and then ….. Ask 4 taste of comeback, got about a sneeze worth and it’s a ketchup grossness. Sandwich was dry and bland; bread, meat, cold cheese.

Just off the banks of the Indian Bayou sits a must-stop on your trip to the Mississippi Delta. Whether you are just passing through or you are there following the Blues Trail on the way to the B.B King museum, The Crown in Indianola is sure to be a memorable stop. I was just lucky enough to catch them for lunch this visit. Of course I may be a little partial but the Catfish and Chicken Allison is as good as it's ever been, along with those special green beans and of course the bread plate that is passed around as well as the dessert table with so many kinds of fresh pies. Stopping in is always a favorite of mine on my trip home as well as the chat.

We worked with the Crown for two larger catering orders for events with Delta Health Center.
The food was prepared right on time and was a hit with the staff.
Also, provided great service during and after our experience. Highly recommend for catering!

I love everything I have ordered from Taste of Gourmet!! The pies are simple and delicious. The sweet onion dressing is heavenly. And, every dip tastes homemade! This is my favorite place to buy pre-packaged foods!!

Great food and the owner was very welcoming and encouraged us to try everything they offered. They also sell those items in their antique store. Very pleasing experience. I will try the dessert table next time!
