I had the fried fish, and it was awesome. The wait was long because they ran out of fish . The supply man was on deck, so my order was complete. Everything was good. Friendly people. The only complaint I have is that I called, and the lady had me on hold for about 10-15 minutes. I didn't want to hand up because I knew the like would be busy. Sure enough, when I hung up, I tried to call back automatic answering service picked up?So I ended up having to place an order in person. Other than that, everything else was great ?? I will be back.

I ordered my food via phone at 8:42 p.m .the person who answered the phone said 15 mins . . I drove all the way from Brandon, MS arriving at 9:25p.m just for them to not even start on my food. I end up getting the food at 9:47 p.m that’s the 1st red flag. I get there the lady lied and told manager I ordered my food 10 mins ago when it was well over 30 mins ago. The picture I seen as advertised was totally different from the meal I actually got. My lamb chops were so pink inside and gummy ,no parsley , soupy mash potatoes , big bacon pieces not bacon bits and over seasoned and cooked broccoli with no cheese, wasted $26. I might should have tried another dish but I definitely was not satisfied and wont be going back.

After a very long drive on our way back to Florida we stopped at the Red zone for a late lunch. Even though it was the time between when they serve food(we did not realize that was the case) we were promptly served with a smile. The food was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely would recommend it to people in the area or other travellers like us.Vegetarian options: Great large green salad with all the toppings!

Love the bourbon wings and loaded fries but now the wings are so small money isn’t the issue let’s gone put that out there i didn’t mind paying the paying $45 for one 10 piece w/ loaded fries and one 6 piece w/loaded fries but paying $45 for some wings that’s literally the same size as my pinky finger the food is still taste good but them wing size don’t match the price

I ordered employee lunch from here and my staff was not disappointed. In fact, we ordered again the next employee lunch and then I ordered dinner the next night. The fried okra is amazing. The kickin bourbon sauce is mouth watering and good on shrimp, chicken, steak, fries... it's just an all around satisfying taste for even the pickiest eater. Great service. Great food. Great price.

1 star for dishonesty. My fiance called to order a turkey neck plate she saw posted during JSU'S Homecoming last weekend. She asked if the plate was the boil that included the shrimp, corn, and potatoes that she saw online. The person on the phone told her no then, offered her a turkey neck plate with rice/gravy, greens, and cornbread with it so she decided to go with that.I thought that was strange because (1) I know Chef Mike has a certain day of the week to serve turkey necks and (2) He definitely wouldn't have any left after being a vendor on campus during homecoming festivities because they're do good!I knew he moved to a new location so I asked my fiancee to Google the address. When she said "1693 Lakeover Dr," I told her that was the wrong place because I saw him post that he hasn't been affiliated with that restaurant since for over half a year. I ended up finding the new location by searching through his personal Facebook page.To sum it up, "1693..." is perpetrating as if Chef Mike is still there and had no problem misleading my fiancee to believe that she was ordering from Chef Mike when they knew that wasnt the case. I can't imagine the complaints he gets on social media about food that he didn't even cook! His new spot is RedZone Express. He has his entire kitchen set up on a bus ay 1495 W. Northside Dr. New spot, but same amazing food!

It's an alright stop. We arrived on 7/26 around 4p. Inside was a little hot for a sit down and eat stop but we made it work turning fans our way.Wanted a little more understanding on some of the menu item descriptions, cashier wasn't very helpful (crawfish sauce?) so I ordered it anyway just to try. We had a large group of 10, variety of items order. I recommend the Philly poboy. I was able to taste various items and out of everything this would be the one thing I would recommend. The wings might be another choice but I don't really like wings and that's just my preference. Catfish with crawfish sauce, rice, and broccoli - it doesn't feel like a cohesive dish. Catfish was good, the rest was just ok and there. The food looks better than it tastes. The photos set a really high standard, if I weren't able to see the photos maybe my expectation would have been met
