An incredible dining experience from start to finish! The food was bursting with authentic Italian flavors—every bite tasted homemade and full of love. The service was exceptional: friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant, making it ideal for both date nights and family dinners. Truly a slice of Italy right in our city—can’t wait to come back for more pasta, pizza , and tiramisu! 🇮🇹🍷🍝

Sat down at bar to order Togo and waited over 12 minutes to even be greeted. Young blonde bartender was very flustered and when I ordered my beer, he couldn’t find it- the very nice female manager came over- and he slammed his hand on the terminal and said “where the hell do we keep the sips”. She calmly helped him but he never seemed to be unable to catch his breath and recover. Unprofessional and made me nervous to ask for anything else. Love this establishment and hope they can correct this young man’s behavior.

Great location in Fondren. Easy to park in the Trustmark parking lot. Know the entrance. Safe and great food and great service. Will return.

Lovely restaurant. My sister and I ate on the patio. Bread and olive oil at the beginning of meal was fantastic. Bread baked fresh. Get the parm cheese added to the oil. I had the lunch shrimp scampi. Ample serving. I had a side of spinach which I added to the scampi. Just a favorite of mine. The 2 compliment each other very well. And of course I had fresh parm added to the top. My sister had the lunch salmon with a side of angel hair pasta and spinach. It was cooked to her liking. Fabulous lunch. Very good service. We will eat there again as often as possible.

My sister & I have eaten at this location weekly since early August. Our waiter Jamal is an excellent server, remembers allergies and preferences and always is friendly and efficient. Wild mushroom ravioli is scrumptious and the chicken margharitte is delicious. Definitely this place is a favorite!

This place is nice. Three Cheese Tortalini was Devine. Service was spot on...prompt, helpful, attentive, enthusiastic....but not intrusive. I enjoyed my meal and will go back when I have a chance.

Good place for a date or friends outing.

This is a locals restaurant that is true to its online ratings. First, Jamal killed it with service. He was interactive, spot-on with timing, had excellent food recommendations and just pleasant to have serving us, the bread and olive oil was the only disappointment of the dining experience as the olive oil had no taste, like they were using a general use, bulk olive oil. The chicken fettuccine and canniloni were excellent main dishes with excellent taste, texture and portions. The red sangria was another excellent accompaniment. The dining experience was finished off with dessert, a scrumptious tasting pecan butter caramel dish. Amerigo is a local favorite and now is this Jackson visitor's favorite. 5 stars overall.

This place came highly recommended but was truly disappointing and expensive. I hate giving poor reviews. The service was slow and the food was not very good. We mentioned our disappointment to the waiter.

Update: Amerigo’s more than made this right. With everything going on, I’ve been slow to make this update and that’s on me. I can’t wait to try them again. Next time will be a family event.

My mother is in ICU on a ventilator. I have to make sure my elderly dad eats properly. I called Amerigos at Fondren, placed an order for two people, and went to pick it up. The lady at carry out didn’t bother to acknowledge me. Finally, someone told me to step to the podium. The guy who prepared it brought it out. I asked him multiple times if there were utensils. He said they are in the brown bag. I said ok and went back to the ICU. Lo and behold, there was one set of utensils that I gave to my dad who is over 85 yo. I had to eat with my fingers and the ICU nurses had to stop what they were doing to locate me a napkin. Folks, stop hiring for appearance and start hiring for competence. I even left this little smart eleck a tip.

There is no food quality that can overcome eating with your fingers in the ICU. Never again!

Great dining experience. Our server Emmy was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. From the time we stepped into the restaurant we had a great experience. We walked around the Fondren area for a while before dining at Amerigo's. We enjoyed the ambiance as the restaurant was a very pleasant establishment. The majority of our party started with the bisque. Very hearty and flavorful. Also paired well with the bread. The star of the dining experience was the main courses. We had seafood pasta and the 3 cheese tortellini. Our food was delicious!!! The pasta had great sauce, packed with flavor! The tortellini was also flavorful and delicious! We enjoyed every dish and will definitely return to enjoy great dishes! Great experience!!!
