My grandson was very tired and a little hungry. While waiting for our food, my grandson had gotten real cranky and was crying. The manager came over and gave him a snack to calm him down. I felt that was a very nice thing she did.
Vegetarian options: They have a small menu for those that are vegan and vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: Like I stated before, the manager was so nice to my grandson. They do have a kids menu.

My friend and I visited this location on Saturday, 10/22/22, after leaving Jackson State's Homecoming game a little early. We stopped here while awaiting our Uber ride and decided to walk in to order fries and a drink. As we were placing our orders, I noticed the young lady taking our orders was being distracted by another coworker, having side conversations with coworkers; that she could not even hear our order. Fine. After placing our orders, we waited in the dining area while our fries were being prepared. After about ten minutes (and yes, it was ten minutes because I was watching my Uber driver enroute to this location), my friend asked the cashier for the wait time for our orders. Our order was prepared shortly after, but we then had to wait a few minutes because she was distracted yet again. Another young lady eventually prepared our to-go orders and we left.While walking through the parking lot, my friend noticed an employee on the patio and asks if he was the manager. He answered that he was the manager. My friend proceeds to tell him of our recent experience. He answers that the cashier was working alone and that they were ten other customers waiting in line. (There were only three customers in line including my friend and myself; they had no drive-thru customers because the parking lot was blocked off due to cars being parked there due to the on-going game.) As we are leaving the parking lot, the gentlemen who stated that he was the manager was following us out of the parking lot and verbally going back and forth with my friend. As we near the edge of the parking lot nearing N. State Street, the man proceeds to walk up to my friend and I and is literally yelling her in face, "I am that n*gga", "I bet you can't beat me up", etc. My friend asked if we should call the police and he yells "They're right there!" while steadily walking up in a threatening manner. He yells that his name is Darius and that he owns this place, he can do whatever he wants, and he does not have to move away from us. I kept yelling for him to back up but he's steadily yelling and in a fighting stance. I just knew this man was ready to hit us. After several minutes of this, another male coworker walks up to try and de-escalate the situation but the manager was hearing none of it.We were already at the end of the parking lot when this escalated and were walking the sidewalk once the co-worker was moving this man back towards the restaurant. Thankfully, our Uber was pulling up to the parking lot and we were able to leave this very hostile environment.As a former food service worker, I have never been so upset with a customer to where I threaten physical harm, especially if the customer posed no threat to my physical well-being. This man had no reason to keep engaging with my friend, continue to follow us out of the parking lot then continue to threaten us as we're walking away. If he would have physically harmed either of us, I would be seeking legal action against him and this company since we were still technically on the premises and he was still in uniform. He was not wearing a name tag so I'm not sure if he provided his true name but I do remember what he looks like. He's a ticking time bomb and a walking liability waiting to happen.I am not only disappointed with the service or lack thereof at this location, but appalled at the behavior of said team members.(He also yelled if we need a job. Sir, I am a mortgage executive and my friend is a journalist for the largest urban social media site in the world lol).

Nice place. Has several businesses inside. I joined their club. And was sent a free burger with any purchase. Glad I came! It had that char flavor I like. I will come again, for sure. The place is very clean, staff are friendly.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Be careful with this Backyard they have a so call Manager who stands outside at football games charging $30 to park, on a dirty folder she wrote on. The parking lot is owned by the hospital across the street. We had to get the cops involved to get our money back and still waited on our smoothie at smoothie king where we was getting our smoothie.. the manager was rude and tried to tell the cop we was trying to jump her. I am a school teacher and this was the most crazy thing I have even seen in my life. I have contacted Corporate of both restaurants and also the hospital who said it was illegal and they will be looking into their actions. I will not stop until she gets fired. She said her district manager to her to go outside and charge people. No ticket or nothing just come up to people taking pictures of licenses plates and tell them they have to pay before they go in the restaurant or she will get the car towed. I will also contact JSU cause she is not affiliated with them as well..

Wild turkey burger with bacon ? was the bum...passed on the Chipotle mayo and opted for regular mayo... Fries were awesome also. Service was great. Will definitely return

No ketchup, only sweet tea and orange Fanta to drink, and horse playing in the kitchen!!! Just my style! Hey there’s nothing better than cold fries that only fill up half of the container!!! I would give 8 stars if I could!!!

The place is a little run down. I know places tend to do that over time but it's not clean. Not soap to wash hands with, dead roaches on floor in sight. This place is located directly in front of the hospital so I was really disappointed.Not to leave things on a complete sour note there is a smoothie bar inside as well as a phone repair (??) But the overall cleanliness would keep me from returning. Sorry.

I put one star because I had to... The two employees I saw were rude and acted like we were bothering them.. No ice in machine so we asked for ice and they rolled their eyes.. all tables were filthy...whoever owns this location could have a gold mine on their hands but not with the way it looks now and employees you have. My husband had already ordered and paid or we would have left.

I pulled in the drive-thru. I waited about 5 mins b4 I went inside to see if they were open. Noone greeted me ,said hold on, or anything. My baby was in the back yelling hello. Manager, Deasia answered the speaker finally ordered my food. I told her I had a coupon for a free kids meal she wasn't listening and charged me for everything. When I noticed what she had did. I politely asked her to put my money back on my card because she had a attitude She responded no you the one with the attitude. By this time yes I do have a attitude. I'm pregnant and hungry all I wanted was food not the attitude she proceeded saying it was just her and 1 other person. She never once apologized for me waiting and acted as if I was the one who made her work with one person but I'm sensitive to the subject because I too have worked before in the same industry and there have been times when I was the only one there with no help and I didn't treat people like it was their fault. I simply let them know I was alone and there may be longer wait than expected. I really didn't appreciate this girls attitude made me drive all the way to Madison for something I had been craving because if her attitude. There was 1 car in the dt when I arrived. I will not be treated any kind of way Idc what the problem is.
