“Was out last Friday evening around 10:15 and was sure to be out of luck when hunting for somewhere to eat. It was looking like Whatabeen tired of eating or Waffle Bell... But happened to do a quick search anyway and Right on Time there it was like a Light House in a storm...Capitol Grill...kitchen open surprisingly late. I gotta say that the food was absolutely delicious! Even to be later in the evening, everything we ordered was fresh and very well prepared. We weren't rushed at all like some places will do when you come in off peak hours for the kitchen. We received Wonderful A+ service from our waitress who gave good recommendations for dinner when we requested them and had fun shooting a couple games of pool afterwards. Overall Great Experience! A Peaceful, Welcoming, and Fun Environment. Great Job!! Will be returning soon. 5☆☆☆☆☆“

“Best burger I’ve had in a long time. No shade, but they are better than Stamp Burgers in my opinion. The flavor is soooo delicious! Seasoned so well! I get mine with everything including bacon ?. May try a fried egg next time. Staff is friendly and place is clean.

Parking: Nice places to park for free in this historic area of Jackson, Mississippi. A stone’s throw from Johnny T’s and a skip from Big Apple Inn.“

“JB is truly one of the coolest and nicest guys around. Their place has undergone a recent remodel with a full new outdoor section and a really cool bar (with pool tables inside), making it one of the most desirable spots in all of Jackson. Adorned with decadent walls showcasing beautiful artwork (murals and graffiti), and offering excellent food and beer, it has become a staple not only in Midtown but throughout Jackson. I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this place!“

“First time at Ish was a nice experience. The crowd is more mature. Showed up spontaneously on a Friday. There was a $15 charge at the door. There was a live performance can’t remember the singers name but will leave a photo, she did good tho and the band played well. Ordered a Patron margarita while sitting at the bar and the bartender made it kinda stout definitely felt them later lol. There was a nice patio area to stretch out or take a smoke if needed. “I've had the opportunity to frequent this place being from Jackson, MS. I've played here many times (drums). It's truly the last of a dying breed...a good old-school juke joint. It's BYOB....just buy your "set-up". Food is good and the blues is rockin'. If you love the old school juke joint feel...this place is for you. If you are looking for a fancy building and a stage with big lights, keep it moving. This place is like stepping back in time. A "must do" every time I go home to visit. I love this place.“

“I saw this spot on Instagram and decided to check it out because it was stated that they have some good food. I couldn't really catch a vibe because me and my friend were the only customers there the 2 hours I was there. I'm not from the area, I went at 10:30, left a lil after 12::30. I like the old school music they were playing and the quesidillas were good, and my salad but didn't like the wings, they were chewy and flavor was off.“
