Let me first say, the pizza was delicious, and is the ONLY reason why I'm not leaving just 1 stars... While sitting and waiting for our food to be prepared, there was a blonde haired woman making pizzas behind the counter loudly shouting orders to the other workers. Maybe she was the manager? But either way, that is NOT the way you speak to your employees... She especially had shouted at an elderly lady named Linda, who was working there, to get a step-stool. It was so loud that someone we were sitting next to actually asked us who was yelling so loud inside the restaurant. When our food was ready, we just got it to go and left the restaurant. The atmosphere was just awful and made us feel super uncomfortable for the workers there. Whoever she is, I'm hoping that she was just having a bad day. Because speaking like that around customers is flat-out uncalled for and unprofessional.

Normally it's good but last time I went they gave me a chicken salad sandwich with barely any chicken salad it was all bread, and this was AFTER I tipped 20 percent. Will probably not go back.

Solid pizza, good selection of menu items, great taste.It’s hard to find good toppings to breading ratio in the sense of quality. I think I just found it. I’d suggest this place if you want a really good personal pizza for a good price.

Basil is on the Fondren main street. You can sit with a view of the street or the shopping. Always lots of places to eat and shop in the area. The food was great. Lots of choices and combinations. My food came quickly and well prepared. I'll be back.

The food was really good. I have tried the pizza and the cheesesteak sandwich and they were both great. They didn’t have any prices posted on the menu though and it was a little pricey.

A Jackson staple and one of my favorite lunch spots in the city. Sandwiches and pizzas are equally amazing and service is always fantastic. The two workers running the restaurant during the day have got it going on for real.

Very tasty but parking is a nightmare. Still worth it for the quality of food.
They close whenever they feel like. No consistency at all. Hours that are posted on door are blank. I was very interested in trying this place but it's hardly ever open. The key to being a successful restaurant is Consistency!!!!

Person inside was very rude. Their hours say 9 o'clock but they said they closed at 2 o'clock. I don't think I would eat at this place with the rude employees

They can be rude.I went the other day to the one in fondren. It was my first time so I didn't know how they did things. I told the lady at the register it was my first time. Now, you would think she would welcome me and give me recommendations on what to order, but she had a bad attitude and was rushing. I ordered at panini and a side of bowtie pasta. I got my food and went to my car but my pasta wasnt in there so i had to go back in and ask the dude for my pasta. The. Something told me to to look at the sandwich, so i looked and it was cold. Im like... no, i thought the sandwiches were got, the pictures posted look hot and pressed. So i asked the guy to heat it for me and he just ignored me and kept cleaning. I never got an attitude back with them God bless them but i just politely asked for my money back and went somewhere else.

OMG has to be one of the Best Pizzas I've ever had!! The sauce used to dip is amazing too. I hate they close early but that's the only thing I dislike.Parking: Hard to find a spot.
