A living piece of Jackson's immigrant history, blending Mexican and Southern influences in its story and menu.

Sonny Boy Williamson II lived upstairs, Little Harlem. Medgar Evers rented a space upstairs.

The bologna was very good, I think the best balance of textures and flavors between the slaw and the grill. The Smokeys very close to a chorizo sandwich with forward heat. The pig ear is the journey for most, I see reviews calling it...
This establishment has been in operation for 80 years. The culinary offerings are exceptional. The proprietors have consistently delivered outstanding service to the community. We highly recommend a visit if you are in Jackson, Mississippi, as it offers a rich historical experience.
This place is an important part of history!!! Medgar Evers and MLK met here! The pig ears sandwich was delicious. It had a crunchy and gelatinous texture that was amazing. The smoked sausage sandwiches were also very good. Just simply on historical fact, it’s worth the trip. I will bring my parents back to experience this part of history.
