GO TO CSs! Its an older spot that really only the locals are aware of. It looks a bit rough on the outside but Pat, the owner, is really nice and cooks really good food. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Cs's burgers and chicken tenders are great, and adding an extra beef patty to amke your burger a double is only a couple of extra dollars, but I feel that their desserts reaaally shine through. I typically don't even order desserts so I'm not sure why I did, but I'm glad i tried them. Their peach cobbler is phenomenal and their peanut butter pie was delicious. I think they also offer a banana pudding, and I'll have to give that a shot the next time I go.

The atmosphere is great, with exhibits that give a sense of history. The cast members were very kind and friendly. The food is also great. I had a hamburger, and the meat was cooked just right, and the spiciness of the jalapeno was just right.

I still enjoy eating at CS’s. Y’all have the best food downtown. I also want to tell Margaret, I think. My father was so tickled for you sending him the Easter candy back to him at the Baptist Hospital.
Seems like a mom and pop place that has run into some hard times.. the did was not great. The prices were decent for what you get. Just a very average burger at best.

I've been periodically visiting CS's all my life. The interior presents the restaurant's history on nearly every surface with countless campaign stickers and other memorabilia related to Millsaps and the surrounding Jackson area. The food is excellent and affordable, with great service from the restaurant's owner and staff. I'm immensely pleased to now be working in an area where I can visit and eat there more frequently.

My mom and I had lunch there today. The whole experience was great. Food was great, but the atmosphere is where it's at. Prices are VERY reasonable. The staff and owner were very kind and kept checking to make sure we were good. We will be back. Thank you for such an exciting lunch break.
