I ordered 8 cup cakes red velvet chocolate strawberry along with 2 brownies. All of them were super nasty! The brownies tasted like someone mistakenly put salt in the batter instead of sugar and the cup cakes, let’s just say my 11 year old could have done better. I don’t normally leave reviews but these were the worst tasting cupcakes and brownies I have ever tasted.

I called twice (10 minutes apart) before making the 15 minute drive there and got no answer.I was specifically looking for one slice of cheesecake for my husband’s birthday to stick a candle in and sing happy birthday. I didn’t want a whole cheesecake because we don’t eat a ton of sweets (hence the slightly more savory cheesecake). All their pictures had cheesecake in the case and even a few reviews mentioned it.I got there and saw no cheesecake and explained all that to the employee and she suggested a tea cookie. I can’t really put a birthday candle in a cookie, so I got three cupcakes for $10.17 and they were VERY dry sandy cake and basic icing.I had a terrible experience, but I guess they’re known for their cookies and could be the place to go if you’re in the market for cookies.

Ordered a custom tiered birthday cake which cost $150.00. Image of birthday invite for color scheme and inspiration was provided. I was very disappointed with the decoration. The name was not well placed, not even straight. And black for the color of the strings coming from the balloons on a pastel pink and gold cake - WHY? For this price I really did expect a lot better of Campbell’s Bakery.

So glad we did not let this place pass before leaving Jackson. Such a cute shop, everything about this place was perfect. Exterior was so cute, interior was adorable. I regret not getting one of everything, but we were rushing to jump back on the road. We did get one of every macaroon, those being mine and my daughter’s favorite dessert. The texture and flavors were PERFECT, again I wish we would have gotten more! If you don’t believe me, take my 5 year old’s very honest video with her seal of approval.While we were waiting inside, there was a gentleman who had ordered a unicorn cake, wow mad props to the baker because it was beautiful.Honestly if you live in Jackson, do yourself a favor and just go here at least once a week!
Hadn't been to Campbell's since 2019 but they are still delivering the same, great products. Albeit...at a higher price but that's life in 2023. Stopped in after lunch at Little Tokyo. As soon as we walked in my son commented on how good it smelled. Was a little disappointed that my favorite cake designer might not be there anymore but again...that's life in 2023. Stopped in especially since our favorite macaron spot was in Cultivation Hall (which recently closed down) and they have found a temporary home at Campbell's. My son devoured his chocolate macarons...my pistachio tasted a bit off. Took one bite and froze the rest. At $2.75 each I wasn't about to let them sit out and waste. As disappointing as my macarons were that snickerdoodle cookie more than made up for it. My goodness it was DELICIOUS! If I lived closer I would be addicted. Service was nice, she was very friendly and attentive. Glad to see them stay in the area. Highly recommend!
