I tried the fried catfish for the first time, and it was off the chain. I don't know who let them off their leash. Believe me, there is a Grandmama Auntie cooking in that kitchen. They can cook!

Cede's took me back to the days I sat on the porch of my grandma's house in Marion, AL with one of her delicious meals. Every bite was awesome. Support this restaurant!

Catfish, greens, Mac and cheese, sweet potato cornbread and the house punch! Win! Win! Win! Food was great and service was 3000! Will definitely come back!

I HAD to do a review. All one ever hears is Jackson this, Jackson that...but baby if your grandma or mama is deceased and she could cook...hunni/sir your grandma's Spirit is at CEDES PLACE! One's traditional southern food is not traditional here! I've FINALLY found me a down home, affordable, friendly SOUL FOOD restaurant!

Called in at 3pm got there paid couldn’t find my ticket waited 45 mins order still not ready oh I am sorry it was a wait on rice well u could have said that other orders going out. Never again u need help at the register u can’t take orders and give out at same time. Will not return

Everybody already knows this young lady can COOK. No question about that(also the jungle juice is 🔥🔥🔥!)
I was in her restaurant the other day at lunch time and she was helping someone who had never been there before. She had questions and needed a lot of extra help. The owner was so patient with her even with the line building up behind me. She greeted us all while still making that lady feel most important. And she called someone from the back to help the rest of us. She was even patient with her worker who was seemingly confused for a second.
I just want to commend her on her SERVICE because food aside, that's 90% of the experience.
So hats off to her for being a decent human being.!

I went for the first time today and the food was delicious! I ordered fried chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens, and dressing. I ate every single crumb!

The service was spectacular. Cedes was so friendly and down-to-earth. My order was hot and fresh. I highly recommend this place!

*My friend invited me & I made the owner aware it was our very 1st visit, only to be met w/ the driest most aggressive attitude. However, we all have our days & moments. We were yet hopeful the food would make up for the lack of hospitality, sadly it definitely did not. Will not bother trying again.
