Food was delicious. Service was prompt. Server was knowledgeable, attentive and courteous.

Three of us got the Asian Chicken Salad. The chicken was so tender & batter was perfect. One had chicken & dumplings & was very pleased. We'll be back for lunch again next time we're in Jackson! Oh, and Deja was a very attentive server ❤️

The time that was given not good. We did not want dinner. We were able to get what lunch that was left. We were seated all the way to the back. If I had reservations I would have preferred the front. We placed sitting near two large parties who had birthday celebrations. Very noisy. Not what I had in mind for Easter.

Even though it was Easter Sunday, Char is a great job with service and food. Their staff is outstanding.

The crab cakes melt in your mouth..and the pork chop..chileeeee..please experience Char..and you are welcome ??❤️❤️❤️ And Alexis and Rikki are the best!!

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! Flew in town for work and I always try to find a nice local, non-chain spot, saw the reviews so decided to try it and we were so impressed we came back a few days later with a larger group. Our server was so attentive and helpful we requested him personally for our return trip. Spoke with management on both visits (TJ and Zack were their names I think) and they were gracious and appreciative.
From the classy atmosphere to the expertly made cocktails to the exquisite food and with dessert being the chef's kiss, this meal was not cheap and it was worth every penny! The fried green tomatoes are the TRUTH! If I am ever anywhere near Jackson again, I will be back!
Note: Courtney is the absolute BEST server I've encountered... insist on being seated in his section!

Ava was an excellent server. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and very nice. She made our dining experience very enjoyable. The food was served hot and in a timely manner. The hostess team was inviting and welcoming. This is my 3rd visit and I will choose Char every time in Jackson Ms. Thank you for an excellent experience.

Good was excellent, the service was very fast and the servers were all pleasant, welcoming and very informed about the food. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. I would highly recommend visiting if you're in Jackson.

Char was excellent. Reservations were honored immediately. Waitress was friendly and accommodating. The food was perfectly timed and excellent on the palate. Perfect for the first date night.

Vegetarian options: From the Tomato and Mozzarella Tower to the Couscous, vegetarian options are available and well prepared.

Dietary restrictions: There are options for just about anyone.

We had a wonderful evening at Char. Our server Kristy was amazing and she was very knowledgeable on the menu. The Mockingbird drinks are the best. I would definitely say to get your steak more on the well done side.

I love that Char takes reservations and your table is ready on time. The service is always quick and you never have to ask for refills. I recommend both the fish and steaks, and all the sides are very good. Also, you should aways save room for dessert!!!
