Went in on a Monday night. Seated fairly quickly, waited 1 hour for a drink and an hour and 10 minutes for cornbread.,We never got refills, Food came out and was cold. It was piled high with cold fries and 2 hushpuppies, and the equivalent of 2 pieces of fish. All for $19.95. Absolutely will never go back. Completely overpriced for disgusting food.

It was a cool, quaint place to have a good meal. Food was 10 of 10! Everything was perfect, for a quick casual date that I was on. The waitress was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu and the kitchen procedures, as to how we wanted our food cooked and that kind of service does not go unnoticed for those of us who still want to go to a nice restaurant these days.

It was my first time coming here last night with my parents and we were not disappointed at all!! When we first walked in, I loved the ambiance conveyed by the decor and the down-home feeling given off by the wood paneling and layout of the restaurant. Not to mention I was very amused by the humorous country-themed signs that peppered the walls. (Particularly the one with the Hillbily 10 Commandments lol) We were immediately greeted, seated, and waited on with excellent service! I have to admit though, when we first saw the menu we were a bit surprised by it seeming so small and not very extensive at first, but we soon found out that inside of that seemingly small menu is a lot of flavor and love packed into it.❤️? Everything was great! I got lemonade which was good, but I tried some of my dad's sweet tea with lemon and it was perfect not overly sweet but just right. I had the Keelboat special with the grilled catfish filets and it was absolutely delightful!? The fish was seasoned perfectly with a nice fresh flavor, the fries were good, the hushpuppies went perfectly with the fresh tartar sauce, the half pot of greens we had had a great flavor,and I absolutely loved the pickled onions and coleslaw!! The pickled onions paired well with the greens and added a brightening flavor and I don't normally come across good coleslaw by many these days, but I can say the coleslaw was absolutely wonderful! I also enjoyed the crispy texture and slight spicy kick of the cornbread. All three of us enjoyed our meal, and we were even treated with great courtesy and hospitality upon paying and preparing to leave the establishment as we were kindly asked if we needed bags for our to-go plates, which I kindly accepted. I have to say the whole experience was the highlight of my day. We will most certainly be back!!
If you've been searching for southern back country cookin, then you've just found it. The chicken and cornbread were spot on and mixed really well with the sweet cream corn. Whether you dip your chicken or not the flavor and tenderness is on point. Gotta have that southern sweet tea with whateverdish you order. I'll be going back very soon. Gotta give the 3 star for the atmosphere though, my table was a little sticky. Great service with a great personality though.

We found this place online on our way passing through. It was worth the couple miles out of the way to get there. Their greens, cornbread, cole slaw and shrimp are outstanding! Fried fish left some underbelly pieces on their cuts or it would've been good. Try it whole if that's your thing.

I Don't think I have Ever! Given a restaurant 5 ? in every category But! Cocktail of the Walk gets them all! I can with All Honesty tell you I have Never had better fried Catfish ! It was Clean, no taste of any oil!! Just the clean taste of the meat But! First you get to bite into a crunchy outer piece of fried heaven! They offer you so much GOOD! FOOD! that when the bill came WE! Felt like we were ripping them off! There is now a New Must have when we are back in town....DONT FORGET 5 ?Parking: The parking lot is gravel but there are lots of handicap spaces available up front by doorKid-friendliness: There is a VERY BIG ? IN PARKING LOTT sorry didn't get picWheelchair accessibility: I parked in front using handicap and there are No Steps so yes!
