Was a good wait we stayed for our fish for about 15min but it was good and fresh, the people there was very nice and the food smelled amazing. I am glad I went here with my sis and 2 nephews they loved it as well, THX AGAIN LADIES! The service also was so homely thank you!

Born and raised in South Jackson Mississippi, you used to go to Collins Kitchen when I was young and the food was great. Moved out of Mississippi in 2012 and move to Tx whenever I come visited my mama I always get me some Collins, and E&L and the food taste different all the time. I guess I'm just one never forget your roots and always support your black business.
The soul was missing out of the food for me. The price and portions don't match up. I got a veggie plate 13 dollars, and my plate was full. An was charged a 1.35 cents for a roll instead of a corn bread. Wasn't made aware that that's an up charge corn bread comes with the meal wow

$50 for 2 orders of Catfish with 2 sides (Cornbread Dressing & Mac & Chrese) and 4 can Cokes. The fish was cooked to order and the food was edible, no wow factor.Oh, we gave a $5 tip.....$55.00

I ordered 2 plates from here on 5/2/2022…..I paid $42 for 2 plates and 2 desserts….The food was horrible!! The worst I ever had from this place since Ms Collins passed away!!! The cracklin bread taste like vinegar was added with big clucks of soft spoiled crackin …..the dresssing was like water! The liver was 2 or 3 days old….the greens was from a can with no salt! The peach cobbler had no taste and was not completely cooked!! I was sooooo disappointed that I called to speak with the manager….nevertheless she was just as mean and nasty as her food! She is the one that been running the cash register for years …..i was already scared to go to this area for food…so I pulled over at the gas station and threw the plates in the trash and took the lost!! I will never return to this place and i am warning you in advance not to spend your money with her it’s a scam and she can not cook!!! Close this place down before someone gets sick from food poisoning!!!The life u save maybe your own!She is not Ms Collins who could cook good and was nice and clean! Ms Collins you are truly missed and I know u wouldn’t want your name to be continued on a place as horrible as this one.
