“Real southern homemade food and it was all excellent. And a lot of food for the price. I really appreciated the homemade fried okra and bread pudding the way it’s supposed to be (light and fluffy not dense and heavy)! My husband said the greens were like his mamaw made.“

“Anjou is a must-try for lunch, brunch, dinner and/or drinks!
It’s a great lunch spot during the week. Daily specials and old standbys. Fried catfish on fridays and home to the best French fries in the metro area!
Try them with some feta sauce.
The daily lunches are all good with solids choices of veggies and/or salad.
The brunch is amazing. Benedict’s, poached eggs that are not overcooked and good drinks.
Dinner is special. Steak frites. Fishes and pasta dishes.
Service is excellent. The bar scene is good and skews more mature. The atmosphere is inviting.
It’s a little piece of France in Ridgeland, Ms!“

“This was the best smoked chicken and baked beans I’ve ever had that chicken will make you slap your mother and your Grandma. The Olive Branch Chicken Coop has delicious food that is consistently good. Usually I bring the wings home, but one time I ate there and I started to notice how badly the restaurant was kept up. It is uncomfortably hot and you will smell like fried food when you leave due to poor ventilation (this is normal for small restaurants that fry their food - not picking on this place). I was the only one who sat there and ate. I think the 2 guys working there were embarrassed b/c they started cleaning around me.“
