Greatest burger I've ever had in my life. Hands down! They cook the ingredients into the burger and it is amazing! I also love the egg plant and Cajun fries!

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. They have the most amazing vegan and vegetarian food! However, I tried to go on 3/1/2021 and it was boarded up. What’s going on, are they closed for good!?!? ☹️

I've been here multiple times and it's always good! Sometimes I do have to wait a while, but it's worth it because the food is always fresh! The only thing I don't like is once they were out of some of the things that come on the burger and instead of telling me they just gave it to me without it. Oh and the time I ordered chilli and they put it in a box and called themselves making a bowl out of aluminum foil.

Good burger and fries. Good atmosphere. Great staff . Great owner. Good service. Clean restrooms. This was the case when I lived in walking distance in 2006. .. i see the negative reviews and i think people are looking for and expecting McDonald's timing. I ate from this location countless times in the 9 years i lived in Jackson. I never once had an order to take more than 10 minutes or to be inaccurate. I recommend this establishment.

Employees are amazing. If they give you an estimated time on your order it is going to be ready at that time. I'm recommending this restaurant to all of my friends.

Slow service and they were out of vegan wings and ranch sauce but decent vegan food! I got the sweet potato fries and Caribbean Curry Chicken sandwich (vegan). The fries were a little mushy and lacking flavor/salt, the sandwich was a nice, chicken-like texture but also a little lacking in flavor. They gave me a thousand island type sauce and the burger/fries definitely benefited from it!

Delicious and good value. I tried West African burger, Abyssian burger, philly cheese steak, mushroom burger, mushroom bites. All vegan and all amazing. Only thing I’ll say is you should double the wait time they give you on the phone. 2 out of 2 times they said 30min and real wait time was about 60min. But absolutely worth the wait

I ordered my food when I pulled up curbside., the guy that answered the phone, talked with a “matter of fact” tone, making it very difficult just to order my food. He told me it would be 25 mins. That original time changed to an hour wait., after I called them to check and see. The guy says my food has been ready, and he didn’t see where my car was. Then took my card without food and I waited another 15 mins for 7 sauces, according to him. This by far was the longest time and most unpleasant time I’ve had here. Just be cautious in knowing that the service here isn’t that great...

I absolutely love their vegan food! So many options and incredible tastes. I usually get the Caribbean curry “chicken” sandwich! Best vegan substitutes around :)

Forgot to take pictures before gobbling down the food but it’s incredible. Got the vegan fried chicken sandwich, chili cheese fries, and sweet potato tots. My mom got the vegan mushroom burger and loved it. Will definitely be going back!

Cool Al's always delivers delicious food! I only get to Jackson once or twice a year, but I always make sure to stop by Cool Al's. Its a vegan/vegetarian comfort food paradise! We've been going since veggie burgers were the only choice, now there are so many additions to the menu its hard to decide what to get. But no matter what, its never disappointing. Those curly fries - oh man, soooo good! When you get a flavor added to the fries its not like other restaurants where you'll get a few dots on half the fries. When you want flavor, Cool Al's gives you flavor! Vegan Philly cheese 'steak' was my newest try and I ate it in under two minutes it was so tasty. Make sure you try the Cool Al sauce! Can't wait to go back!
