I visited this today and the customer service is at a all time low. When I got my order and returned to work. I opened it it looked good but with a catfish order you get one pack of hot sauce and tartar sauce .Hell I spent almost $20 and this is what you get. Never again Martin's here I come. Eddie's not worth it!

My first time visiting in years post the pandemic. I had been craving fish from this place for a long time but time was never on my side. Still has a great taste! Ordered 1 plate of catfish that came with 4 pieces of catfish, side salad, slice of bread, and fries & the fish sandwich order which consisted of 3 pieces of Catfish and bread. We waited outside since it is only a drive thru establishment (which was not a long wait). The person who takes the order was friendly. Card is taken but charges ~3.0% (my total was ~$31) so it's best to have cash.
I had enough for the next day which my family member ate and really enjoyed. I'll be stopping by again when I'm in town. It was really good.

When I knew I’d be passing through Jackson after 26 years, the first thing on my list was to visit Eddie & Ruby’s. My daughter and I picked up 2 catfish fillet dinners and it tasted the same way it did 26 years ago! Absolutely divine! When you go there, ask for Slim who will make you feel like an old friend. Unfortunately. , you can’t dine in anymore but the curbside service is fast and friendly. A couple of days later, my daughter and I stopped in Jackson again and pick up our catfish dinners! Also, we stocked up on Red Pop which isn’t sold where we live in Texas. Slim if you are reading this….the next time I’m in town, the beers will be on me!

My visit with Eddie & Rubye's was exceptional. I have not been there in over 10 years. Thus, the food was still amazingly delicious. On the day of my visit, I noticed that there had been some changes as far as ordering the food, though. Now, you can place the order and pay for the order conveniently from your vehicle. I think this change was a great idea. You are greeted by a courteous and efficient host who takes the order, brings your order back expeditiously, and sincerely thanks you for patronizing the restaurant.I ordered a pan trout sandwich. It was hot and it was enough to feed two people.The food was great and the customer service was great. I received 5-star customer service from this host.Furthermore, I believe that as patrons we should be a 5-star customer to receive 5-star customer service. That is, be kind and courteous, as well.Thank you, Eddie and Rubye's for a wonderful experience!

Delicious! Delicious! Great seasoning and fried just how I like it, fried hard. Friendly atmosphere! I love Ms Rubye set up. This was my first time eating at Eddie and Rubye. My nephew told me about them two years ago. I'm from Mississippi but I live in Texas. When we driving down to MS about time we make it it to Jackson they closed. On our way back to Texas on Monday they don't be open. We was missing them all the way around. I did a road trip for my boy spring break for a week. The last 4 days of the trip we stayed in Canton MS. That Friday I made it my business to find Eddie and Rubye. Google is my best friend, I could remember Ms Rubye name but I googled where I can get pan trout fish in Jackson MS Eddie and Rubye snack bar came up. I asked Mr Eddie about a good home made hamburger place and he recommended me to Stamps Super burger. He was right that burger was good. Thank you! Thank you! I will be back!!I was hungry for that hot pan trout fish. I forgot to take a picture. Lol

I haven’t been to Eddie and Rubys since 2016 and I am very disappointed on how they have become. I just spent almost $20 on a four piece catfish fillet. And three of the four pieces were so small. They was size of a pack of gum. Definitely not worth the money anymore or the time waiting for it.

Very hospitable gentleman came to the car & took my order. Made me feel at home immediately. I only wish I would have asked for my fish fried hard. The sandwiches were LOADED with fish that was hot out of the grease. The pan trout was better than the catfish.

I love the service that i get when me and my son pull up in line to order.The food is great and customer service is awsome. So if you no you had good service and good food think about leaving a tip the next time you place an order it is well deserved. Thank you for being the best fish spot in town.
