It's crawfish season and this place was the closest to where I'm staying in Jackson so the wife and I thought it was worth a try. Ordered 5 pounds of Cajun boiled crawfish. Came on a huge tray piled high. Thought the seasoning was a great flavor. A peppery tangy kick with a spicy heat that added flavor without burning out your senses. Really enjoyed the bugs. Only came with one piece of corn, a potato and a piece of sausage. As a meal for two I wish they would have doubled the sides because I had to fight my wife for a bite. Now I have to go back to try the garlic boil everyone is raving about.
Food 10/10. Tatyana (cashier) was very nice and respectful. Clean dining and restroom area.

The fried food was good. I didn’t get a pic of the gumbo but it had a good flavor.. it would have been better if it wasn’t crunchy… they need to Cook down the onions and the bell peppers and celery. It was just like the vegetables were just added after it was cooked. Other than that, it was good.

if i would give them a 0 star i would, i went and wanted the crawfish seafood boil right, i asked for 2 eggs IN the seafood boil, we get to the window pay for the food first of all she didn’t even give us a receipt with what we ordered on it, it just had how much the order was. Then the wait was long anyway but that wasn’t no big deal to me. So we get our food and we telling the lady we had a seafood boil she gone say we don’t have crawfish?like why you even continue for us to order it and yall so call didn’t “have” it. Then not only that she gone say we couldn’t have two separate orders at the drive thru that we had to go in, that should have been our first read flag !

I had a craving for catfish so I decided to stop by. I ordered the two piece catfish platter with fried rice and fries and a 12 piece gizzard. I was given my food quickly. The total was $18.91 and it was a good deal of food for $18.00. But I didn't like it. I first took a bite of fried gizzard and it was extremely hard and it tasted old. Like it had been battered some time ago and then quickly fried from frozen. It was not flavorful at all and to make matters worse it left a horrible aftertaste. Just a very yucky smelly aftertaste. The rest of the gizzards appeared to be fresher and there was no terrible aftertaste like the first piece however. I moved on to the catfish filets. The fish was hot and fried fresh. It was ok. Not bad really but I've had much better. I moved on to the fries. The fries were absolutely horrible. They had no taste at all and were not salted. The shrimp fried rice was good. The young woman at the window was extremely slow witted. When I made it to the window I realized they had no diet coke or Dr pepper and I decided simply to get water. She demanded $1.00 extra although a drink came with the meal. I asked her how much would the meal have cost without the drink and she said $1.00 less. So instead of simply handing me a dollar since I was not getting a drink she kept demanding that I turn over a dollar for the bottle water until the manager/owner? Informed her that it could be provided with the meal. She also forgot to put a fork in my bag although I had fried rice with my meal.

Public service announcement I willNever ever eat at Ellis seafood ever again when I say the whole house has diarrhea and gas I will never eat there again and to make matters worse I spent 16$ on nasty dry food and didn’t even get everything I ordered. My baby finally asleep her stomach is hurting cuz of it ugh
