I've heard son many Jacksonians rave about this place. So, while in town, we hit the drive they for a quick lunch. The speaker system works, but it is a bit of a challenge to understand everything being said. The speed of service was decent, as was the food. The lady at the window lacked personality, but maybe she was having an off day! It was an overall average experience for me.
It was OK, my husband and his family. They are catfish people I am not… I had coffee and it was just too mottled and he had some other fish that was way too fishy tasted like olive oil out of a bottle. The hush puppies were OK.
I got the 40-50 shrimp with fries and salad. It say hush puppies but the woman said bcuz I had fries and salad I couldn't get hush puppies I would have to substitute. Their hush puppies are the greatest! I also live their shrimp.
