The team here is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel truly at home from the moment you arrive. The warmth and care they show turn a simple visit into a memorable experience. The food is outstanding, full of flavor and clearly prepared with passion. Everything comes together perfectly, making it a place you would happily visit again.

I grew up in the delta, and this place always reminds me of this one eatery down the way from home.
I'll happily eat here any time I get the chance.

Very friendly service. Great food at a great price. They keep your cup full. This is the best lunch I’ve had around.

Fantastic home cooked food. It's always good taste. Cafeteria style, choose your own plate. Sit in rustic scenery and imagine a simpler time.

Self-serve meat, veggies (mushy), desserts. Food was OK, but nothing exceptional. Friendly staff. Location conveniently located in the huge museum complex.

It has not been mentioned that I can see in the previous reviews is that (at least on the Monday I went), it was buffet style, and it was unclear if the pricing was a la cart, or as a plate. I got the lima beans, rice with gravy, pulled chicken and banana pudding. Also a corn muffin and roll. Everything was pretty darn good and reasonably priced. They did come around with refills on the tea.

The staff and friendly and attentive however, the food was lackluster. I like to preface with the fact that I'm not salt sensitive nor do I smoke...factors to consider when I'm reviewing because they play a role in how food tastes.

We came right when they opened and the fried chicken was not crispy and had very little flavor. Breast was not dry so that's a plus.

Cabbage was cooked at the right texture, not too mushy not too hard but no flavor...

Dressing was too mushy and needed more seasoning..

The best thing about the entire lunch was the salad and the cornbread muffin.
