If you're looking for real soul food in jackson! This place cannot be beat. Be prepared to wait with call-in and walk-ins. I got the veggie plate and it was delicious. You can taste the home cooking. Will be visiting again.

Probably the best soul food I have had since the Street Car Cafe in New Orleons. Amazing! Fried catfish perfection. Collard green heaven!

The food is bland and disgusting I ordered the shrimp pasta and the shrimp still had its shell on I about choked on a piece of it while I was eating it legs feet everything was still on it everything I received was cold it was just a waste of 16$ I threw it all away it was absolutely horrific

Went looking for some good food and it's no longer at this location so was very upset about the waste of a drive but the one that is open was good very long wait though and when your hungry that's not a plus, server said the specials came with a drink then when we got our food she said we had to pay for them separate.....

My family and I loves Gloria’s Kitchen. I currently live in Florida and every time my family and I come home to visit we have to come to Gloria. We made a mistake and went to the wrong location. I instantly told my friend from Mississippi. She told me we were at the wrong location. We finally went to the right location and our souls was satisfied! Please hurry up and open back up! Ohhhhh how I miss your dressing!

When i was younger i enjoyed eating Gloria's. Due to marriage and relocation, I hadn't had a chance in over a decade to taste it. Until yesterday..... Unfortunately, i was disappointed. There were so many bones in my tetrazzini that i got tired of picking through it. There was also something wrong with my broccoli and cheese. I thought it was just me since i'm pregnant, so I let my husband taste it. His exact words were "Did they cook this in swamp water?" I never even told him it tasted sour to me, so I knew something was wrong. I had to spit out the little i tasted.I remember people saying that one location was bad due to the separation of owners, so I automatically assumed it was the ex partner's. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I will give it another shot, but my 2 stars stand until then

I read online that there were 2 Gloria's locations. If you do a Google search you'll see that there's one off of Bailey Ave and one off of N. West St. I went to the N. West St location. Inside looks like an old club. I ordered my plate to go and paid the person in the old DJ booth. The food was absolutely amazing & delicious. I would most definitely return again.

I would have to say that Gloria's is the absolute BEST soul food around Jackson MS! The food is very well seasoned and it tastes wonderful! Real good down home cooking! I had the fried chicken...white meat which was the breast and wing, yams, turnip greens and cornbread and it was all melt in your mouth delicious! My husband had the smothered pork chops with rice and gravy and lima beans and cornbread. My daughter had catfish, mac n cheese and corn nuggets and cornbread. All 3 of us had water to drink. The gentleman that owns it was so nice and kind from the time we walked in the door until we finished eating! We will go back because the food and service was outstanding!!! So, if you're in the Jackson area just stop by and give Gloria's Kitchen a try! You'll be eating delicious and tasty food!

No! No! No! I ordered the meatloaf and it was still frozen! The lady had to heat it up and it was still cold! There was no seasoning on the food. I'll pass on this place!
