Our waiter Ava wasn't very attentive to our needs as customers. There wasn't a crowd, however I felt she could have been more available...we went without our water refilled, excessive long wait to order. After food arrived didn't check to ensure everything was fine. Not sure if this is her first job but really needs to more conscious about her tables. Overall I will return and highly recommend La Cour!
Terrible experience. The service was ok but could not make up for the very long wait for our food (restaurant was nearly empty by the way). Once the food arrived it got worse. We ordered crab Benedict but it came with no crab and the tiniest drizzle of hollandaise. We told the waiter about the missing crab and turns out they were out of it but didn't share that with us but we're still going to charge us the premium. The worst part was the waffle. It was so dry that I couldn't even get it on a fork. I took a bite and found a black curly hair in my mouth. Absolutely disgusting. Definitely will not be returning.
Expectation from an enforced dress code (which is not enforced) was a nice higher end meal for my significant other's Birthday. We arrived on-time for our reservation of four, the hostess asked if we had a reservation; there was no need. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Three tables in total of guests from 6:30-9:00pm. I had to go to the bar to get a drink because the server never came to our table. When she did come; we ordered the "focaccia bread service" while we looked over the menu. She came back 15 minutes later and said they don't do that anymore but can give us garlic bread. The garlic bread to take the place of the bread service was literally a hot dog bun cut into four tiny pieces. It was just enough to laugh. We ordered the FULL charcutier board and it was only pepperonni slices and pepper jack cheese with a strawberry. A joke. The food was bland and took over an hour to arrive. $263.00 for a table of four and I am angered in the amount of money spent on a lackluster restaurant and food. Stay away and go elsewhere.
The food was fabulous and the waiter and waitress were amazing. I called to get a reservation for 6 and they didn't have one. So I accepted a 4 and 2. The host/hostess was adamant that we couldn't sit near each other. Then they sat us on opposite sides of the restaurant but we had the same waiter/waitress and there was no one in the place. Tons of empty tables. We were there for 2 hours. It was a lengthy wait for our entrees. Still the tables remained empty. They should be more accommodating.
1st timing visiting Jackson. TikTok search for brunch brought this place up. Food was great. Atmosphere was amazing. Drinks were amazing. Price was decent. I highly recommend going if you are in the Jackson area.
I met my girlfriends for lunch. The food and drinks were delicious and our waitress was amazing. I would definitely recommend La Cour's Kitchen for a lunch date or an outing with friends.
La Cour, "we were all rooting for you." The service is abysmal, awful abysmal! Trust me that's not too strong a word. The hostess greeted us with a smirk. And after seating us with a sigh of contempt, she lurched away to get us water. That's a good thing, because it would be the only thing we would get for another 15-20 minutes. After the much prolonged wait, a server finally appeared. At this point we thought it prudent to put in a complete order with drinks, appetizers, and entrees. We'd hoped this would expedite our visit and make it easier for the server. I'm not sure if it made it easier for the server, but it did not speed anything up -- in a restaurant with 3 active tables -- to deliver any food or drinks. There were several times our water glasses and drinks were empty for prolonged periods of time -- more than 10 minutes at a time. At some point, food came. We ordered crab claws (6/10), Brussel Sprouts (6/10), the portobello steak (9/10), red fish (6/10), and sweet potatoes (8/10). Please note that most dishes are heavily salted and/or sweetened. This is not someplace to go for healthy options. This all totaled about $150 bucks. We tipped 18%, although we typically do 20-25%. I wanted to tip NOTHING! Best advice, just sit at the bar. There were two customers and someone who worked for La Cour siting at the bar. And, from what I observed, they were at least able to get drinks in a timely fashion. I've sat at the bar before and was able to get water and drinks as needed/requested. DO NOT RECOMMEND to friends or family who want good food and good service. They'll probably leave seething and upset that spent that much to be treated so poorly. Happy Dining, Good People!
Ashley K. was our server- SHE WAS AMAZING! She was the best waitress I've had in a while. As far as food, we had the sliders for an appetizer and they were really good; an upgrade from what you get from Chilli's. My husband had the bacon-wrapped filet, sweet potatoes, and a cup of gumbo. Everything was cooked to his liking- he didn't complain once! I had the perfect pasta and it was the best restaurant pasta I've eaten in a while. The only downside to our visit was a loud group of people sitting near us. Other than that, everything was great!
Excellent brunch experience. However didn't realize 4 cups of coffee between two people would cost $16. Thought that was a bit pricey. Overall experience was great. Marcus did a wonderful job and serving us. Thanks.
My friends and I experienced La Cour for the first time together and it did not disappoint at all. From the staff to the drinks to the food, it was all amazing. The food was seasoned beautifully and came out piping hot. The shrimp and grits was the winner at the table. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is one of my favorites! We typically go for brunch but we decided why not go out on a date! Especially for Valentine's Day. Now that price was a bit outrageous but the food was good!
Food s good but overpriced with other comp restaurants. Service was good but as always bar is slow Think their dress code for lunch & brunch is crazy. Dinner maybe not bad but we are 2024
Ordered a medium rare burger and it came out well done, with burn edges. Ordered an over easy egg, informed by the waitress they only listed an over done egg or medium done. Egg came out hard and over done. Wait staff was excellent. Food was sub par on the burgers. French toast was cooked well and had a lot of flavor.
Our experience at La Cour was perfect. Our table was ready upon our arrival. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. Our drinks and food were amazing. We did not have to wait long to receive our food and drinks. The night was perfect thanks to La Cour.
It was evening and dark when we arrived. Restaurant was in a shopping center interior. There was no signage on center parking area. The entry walkways leading to interior were poorly lit. The restaurant's only sign was on the door. For some reason they couldn't serve liquor. They had run out of many food items we wanted to order. Grilled shrimp was well prepared. As was the salmon.
