I called Sakura Bana for to go order but they were unable to answer so I opted for Little Tokyo in Fondren. I assumed the experience would be similar since both restaurants share the same menu. However I was extremely dissapointed with everything. The front lady was rude, the rolls were very inconsistent, for instance, the ends would be very large piece of avocado and little to no shrimp, and then the opposite in the middle. The Tuna nigiri was not safe to eat. The fried gyoza was completely cooked improperly as well. Overall I horrible experience that certainly didn’t justify the price point. I recommend you have all of the staff of Sakura Bana sit down with you all soon and maybe they can fix these issues.

I was very impressed by this place. For starters, I ordered my son the kids bento box, and he loved it, was a great value and good food. I myself got three sushi rolls- spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and the spicy crawfish(best one by far). My partner got the chicken hibachi and she was impressed as well. Lastly, we tried the peach and the strawberry sake both of which were delicious if you’re looking for hibachi and sushi in Jackson, Mississippi I definitely recommend this location.

Our first visit here was incredibly disappointing. When we arrived, we chose to sit at the bar, but the bartenders didn’t acknowledge us—no greeting, no smiles, nothing. A server eventually took our order, but when he brought the food, one dish was incorrect. Instead of handling it discreetly, he asked, “Did you all touch this? This one isn’t yours,” before taking it away—hopefully not serving it to someone else.

I requested Sriracha twice and didn’t receive it until after I had finished my meal. As for the food itself, the sushi rice was crunchy, the spring rolls lacked flavor, and the potstickers were undercooked and under-seasoned. Throughout our meal, the bartenders never once checked if we needed another drink or anything else.

Overall, the experience was terrible—bad food, poor service, and zero hospitality. With so many better options offering great food, attentive service, and reasonable prices, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and certainly won’t be returning.

While it's mostly, I feel, a walk up dine in I was very pleased with this experience. I love giving any and all restaurants serving sushi a try.
I purchased the spicy, smoked salmon and tuna rolls as well a nigiri for the first time - smoked. Besides the price for the nigiri only I was not disappointed but what do I know about pricing for this particular cuisine I've never tried. The rolls' pricing I felt were more than reasonable.
The service was lovely and efficient. I will be returning and next time I'll park myself at their bar to watch my order being prepared.😊

Wonderful looking inside and out. Has a back entrance in case you want to use the newly constructed parking garage. Very nice and knowledgeable waitress helped me choose a wine to drink with my calamari hibachi.

Ordered through Uber. Delivery was the only thing good. Filet mignon medium rare was actually well done, miso soup had no flavor, veggies really greasy, ginger dressing was like tasteless thousand island salad was wilted from being froze. $70 lost. Should have had a $2 hot dog from 7-11 instead.

The rice is the main ingredient and it seemed a little bland and there were a few rolls that my family didn't like and although I didn't try the ones that they weren't fond of, I still wanted to leave this in the review and that is the reason why I give it a three-star on the food.

The food presentation was not that good and it was not tasty like I thought it would be.

The Tuna Tartar pictured was utterly divine. I could have eaten many of these. The rest of the meal was presented excellently, and the Sashimi dinner was mostly good. The octopus, sadly, was rubbery. There is an art form to prepare it. You can't really mess up tuna and salmon. The staff were warm and friendly.
