We went to Lou's Full-Serv last night to celebrate our anniversary. It wasn’t our first time but it was our first time to get the filet and holy hell was it good. We ordered the steak and fries and got the filet for our cut. Cooked perfectly medium rare with nothing but a little salt, pepper and char grill to give it flavor. It was hands down the best steak I’ve ever eaten and sooo worth the price. You also get a mound of the most delicious hand cut fries which I couldn’t finish but took them home because they’re that good. Got the s’mores cheesecake for dessert which we split. It wasn’t the s’mores cheesecake I remember from the old restaurant but it was still delicious. Then of course an order of bread pudding that I brought home for breakfast because I can’t go to Lou’s without getting the bread pudding. I didn’t get a picture of the steak and wish I did so you could all see its gloriousness.

After 550 miles on the road this place was truly a treat. Laid back atmosphere, friendly waitstaff, fantastic cocktail menu and even better food. The Redfish #1 was perfectly cooked and balanced to perfection. Ol’ Mississippi gets a bad rep in a lot of ways, but this place is jewel in Jackson. Check it out.

Driving through to Laurel, MS and we stopped for dinner based on reviews and our love for excellent food. We especially love food prepared with ingredients from local farmers! WOW!! Lou’s was amazing! Our server, Marie, was absolutely fantastic! She recommended the 3 year in a row award winning bread pudding!! Speechless delicious! Lou’s was an excellent addition to our trip and the hospitality is unlike any other! A must!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Way overpriced. Terrible service. Literally go anywhere else… sad I wasted money here. Manager was a jerk as well. Take my advice, go somewhere you’d enjoy the food & people are kind. Definitely no southern hospitality.

The food was excellent! I had the scallops with shrimp and burre blanc and every bite was delicious! Some of the best risotto I've had here in Jackson. The hubby had reddish no. 2 and he loved it. We topped off the meal with toasted marshmallow
