I ordered a pan trout sandwich with fries I was told it was $10.50 went in and got the order paid it no mind what I was charged, but it ended up being $13. Then everything on the plate was salty. I could feel the grit on the fries and the fish wasn’t good at all. I would never order from this restaurant again and I require a refund.

06/22/24 - It was an hour before I got the chance to eat. The turkey necks and rice were tasty but the oil from the okra had cooked too many items today. Also, they serve white bread instead of cornbread. The building is long past its prime and was a smoking establishment. As soon as I stood in line, a gentleman greeted me, asked if I called in my order, took my order, and gave me a time frame for waiting. My food was ready in less time than quoted.
Parking: Abandoned/rumble lot next to restaurant.

This was my first time at this place my cousin wanted to go. The young man that was taking the orders was very rude. He was also smoking a cigarette in the place upon ordering which I thought was weird . I don’t think I’ll be going back but hey this is just my opinion . But the fish was great .

I ordered one spot burger and 3 king spot burgers I was told my order was $61 and some changes I couldn't understand how but I wouldn't have minded paying it however the last time I went the owner took my order I got two king spot burgers and a order of wings I left went to the store came back went in to check to see how long on my oder the owner said very rude its not ready yet you just ordered the owner was so rude after waiting almost an hour for my food I asked for ketchup mayo and mustard packs I was rudely told by the owner we don't have none as he rolled his eyes very disrespectful to be changing as much as they charge

This is the best place in Jackson for a great home style hamburger. It is consistently good. The burgers are big and cooked just right. The price was better than expected. It is my go to for burgers. They also have a variety of local menu favorites like turkey necks, fries fish, chicken, and Kool-aid. You can also enjoy a game of pool while u wait. I recommend ordering ahead. They give u a call when ur order is ready, to avoid having to get there and wait. The only issues are parking and location. The parking is very limited and kind of difficult to get to. No designating parking spots. It's also not well lit.
Cool lil spot for food, they take all day to make it, but when it's done it's right
They need to repeat your order back so they can make sure it will be made correctly
