Mama's is kind of a hole-in-the-wall soul food place. Nothing fancy about the decor or vibe. The ribs, chicken (fried, baked, barbequed), pork chops are always pretty good. The sides - lima beans, peas, greens, corn, candied sweet potatoes- are okay. This is a mom-n-pop, family-run business. They are always polite and professional. Service is relatively fast, depending on the crowd lined up at the counter. I would recommend Mama's for your lunch or dinner.

the gentlemen at the register and the ladies in the kitchen are super nice. I wanted some soul food and that's what I got. and it was so good. I also noticed the cleanliness around the back to the kitchen. me my daughter and her dad enjoyed the vibe too. lots of love in that place.

Found this place while visiting the Trace. So glad we jumped off to eat. Just an unassuming spot but the cars in the lot said it was popular. The food was EXCELLENT. Best home cooking I’ve had in a while. The fried chicken was delish and the sweet potatoes amazing! Didn’t love the cornbread but that was a minor complaint compared to everything else. There was a line but so worth the wait. If we lived around here, I’d be a regular. The people were super friendly too.

You definitely get your money worth at Mama's. The food was absolutely delicious! Good variety of meats and vegetables. Very well seasoned. Fast and friendly service. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I went here yesterday and had to double back again !! I got their dressing yesterday and the yams and it was so good . It's 12$ for a plate and it's well worth it i got full like 3 times off this plate

The smothered pork chops and gravy is delicious with rice, their whole fried catfish and fillet catfish is quite tasteful. The sweet potato yams are divine. The food is definitely worth buying. I wish they would stay open a little longer.
