My coworkers and I usually eat from here. The food is always good and fresh. Today, however, the chicken tetrazzini was not it. It hardly had any chicken. Cabbage and yams was good I called restaurant to give feedback about it and person just stated ok.

The fact I accidentally found this place baffles me. This place is the best soul food I had in my life. The cafeteria style where you can pick and choose your dishes is awesome. I had the fried chicken with greens and amc and cheese and it was exceptional. I had to try some of the other items and none were bad. Everything was great and definitely cooked with style and care.

Sure the ambience is lacking but the food makes up for it!!! It was a heck of a long line, it moved fast, and the customers were all people who looked like they knew what good food was. The server was so nice and then I noticed her face in a framed newspaper article. It's a family business. You could even see the family resemblance on the cashier's face lol. Love a family that makes money together. Anyway I got the spaghetti and it was fire. Hubby got the fried chicken and he also enjoyed it. The cornbread was extra delicious

Sweet potatoes tasted like pumpkin pie 10/10. It kinda felt like going to a cafeteria. Atmosphere was nice, whoever runs the store clearly loves god as I saw famous Bible quotes posted inside. I would go back again.
I have been to the restaurant twice. The customer service is great! There is a wide variety of food to choose from...so much so that it is hard to choose ☺️ The food has been hot and delicious. Good home cooked food that everyone is looking for.I will definitely be visiting often.Pam
