Worst pan trout fish ever. I live out of state and had been craving pan trout. This ain't it, it was old, not fresh or crispy and dingy beige. I am very disappointed I had to break my blue strip for this ish! I will never ever go to or recommend Martin Fish on Clinton Bivd again.

It doesn’t look like much on the outside but you go inside and it’s like walking back in time with all the memorabilia on the walls. History wall to wall.Now about this food it was DELICIOUS. I got the catfish plate and a order of fried green tomatoes. My husband got the shrimp poboy and an order of fried green tomatoes. I’m very picky when it comes to my fish and fried green tom. But I never expect it to be so good and fresh. Everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be going back.. plus they have deserts homemade if you have room for it.
Parking: If you’re early you get the good parking spots.

I thought the first was too fishy considering that I ordered the farm raised catfish. The portion was entirely too big which means they gave me a big catfish and for anyone who knows about catfish, that means it's not any good. The best tasting catfish are the thinly cut 2-3 oz fillets. I probably won't go eat here again bc I spent $49.58 for 2 plates. Not worth it. My dog wouldn't even eat it!!

Let me start off by saying the food was delicious! My rating of a three (I was being very generous with that) was based solely on the customer service. The lady behind the counter was the most unpleasant person I've met during my visit to Mississippi. This was a shock to me because everywhere else that I've patronized had so much "southern hospitality ". She was unfriendly, impatient, rude, and the tone of her voice would make you think she didn't care if you ordered food or not and that you were interrupting her from doing something more important to her. Normally I would have walked out, but my 80 year old dad was hungry and after driving way out of our way to find this place, I tolerated her nasty attitude. When we got outside my dad even said, "we'll damn, she was just plain old nasty!" The food was good tho!

Very good food but be proactive and call the order in. Orders are made to order so if you walk in and there are people ahead of you that adds to the wait time. Not a dine in spot but a good variety of Southern fish house is staples, drinks and desserts.
Vegetarian options: Pescatarian but no vegan or vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: If you have a shellfish or seafood allergy stay away from here because theres no separate grease.
