We had fried chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, squash, macaroni and cheese, lima beans, green beans, corn, turnip greens, cornbread, sweet potato pie, and peach cobbler. Everything was absolutely delicious, well seasoned, and tasted just like southern comfort food should! The employees were friendly, efficient, and kept the place very clean. We’ll be back next time we pass through MS.
I love soul food and I’m so glad I ran across this place. The variety and taste was excellent. Prices are fairly reasonable. I was A little disappointed that their lunch plates didn’t come with a beverage. But overall a nice lunch spot.
Collard greens were cooked with love!!! tender , flavorful with a hint of heat . Baked chicken was full of flavor and fell right off the bone . Wish they had jalapeño cornbread , though
