I ordered a Black Forest Cake for pickup at the Medical Mall on November 27, 2024. I usually order a Black Forest Cake for Holidays and special occasions. This cake is a three-layer cake. When I arrived to pick up the cake, the cake was a one-layer with excessive whipped cream on top of the cake. I spoke to Jamie Mallett, General Manager, to inform her the cake should be a three-layer cake and that I had frequently purchased the cake in the past. Ms. Jamie Mallett was discourteous and refused to listen to anything I had to say. She replied, "You do not have to buy the cake." This cake was one-third the size of the cake I had been buying (one layer versus three layers) and had gone up from $21.00 to $25.00. Teach Jamie Mallett, General Manager, to treat your customers with respect and courtesy. I drove from Ridgeland to get this Black Forest cake; I will not be purchasing the cake from you again.
Food is not fresh. Seems to be leftover food from previous day. Not the same at all.

A coworker and I normally go to Piccadilly 's for lunch because it's pretty easy to get in and out and have a fair experience but this time we asked one of the servers(Wilma) for a couple packs of hot sauce but she looked up and continued working and within a minute a Caucasian female walks up and asked for some hot sauce and she immediately stopped and served her and we were still waiting and the cashier stopped and passed us some hot sauce. Poor customer service and attitudes at this location, we normally eat here at least 3 days a week but after this experience we will take our business to another restaurant in the Jackson Medical Mall.
Went to a meeting there at about 5:00 in the afternoon on a Tuesday they were fresh services was great!!!

Was really looking forward to a great meal from my favorite restaurant for warm happy food. I’ve been going to the Delmont Village Piccadilly in Baton Rouge since I was a kid.. I know they really have some great food, but I always get the same thing.. Chopped beef with mashed potatoes, cabbage, okra or greens.. No cabbage at all, but that wasn’t the problem.. The food was cold.. They also didn’t have the gravy juices from the meat. Just cold brown gravy.. I personally don’t eat cold food unless it’s intended to be cold.. The ladies that worked there were very friendly.. I didn’t complain.. I’m sure, they already know it’s cold.. They gave me the impression they, have been working there for awhile. This was at the mall on Woodrow Wilson.. I’ll try another Piccadilly at a different location and cross my fingers..
Food is good
The one by the medical center I was really disappointed
I work at the Medical Mall and go to Piccadilly at times if I need a quick lunch. Do not usually want a big meal when working. Would like to have more options for a la carte (individual dishes from the menu). Asked for one meat item (cajun chicken soup on rice), but was told would have to pay full price of a whole meal at 10.99. Got the whole meal out of desperation because I went to lunch late on a Friday and other places where closed. The portion of the meat item alone was more than I needed and most of the meal went in the garbage. Do not like to waste money or food. Need more options to eat light please. Also putting up a posted cost of meal choices (veggie plate and what it includes, ect.) would be nice so it is easier to know what the rules are. Wanted to comment because myself and others would like these light choices. Would come there more often and know others would too!
