I’ve had a lot of pizza in the Jackson metro area, but Poppy Pies is hands down the best. The Captain and The Burrata are our personal favorites, but we’ve never had a bad pizza from Poppy Pies. Keep a lookout for the Mexican Street Corn pizza—it isn’t always on the menu but we always go out of our way to make sure to get it when it’s available. The handmade dough is always cooked to perfection and the sauce and toppings are always really consistent and balanced. Service is always great and super fast and the new frozen drink options are fantastic. This family run restaurant is a gem and a must-visit spot if you’re in Jackson.

I live in New York now but book flights for Poppy Pies!! Innovative pizzas, frozen drinks I wish I could have on tap at home, and lovely wonderful staff – I prefer it to everyplace here. Everything is the best of the best, from the ingredients to the experience. Perfect for young and old – I love spending time here with my family, my young nieces, and my friends. How lucky are we to have Poppy Pies in Jackson!!

poppies pies has it officially won my heart with their captain Pizza from the first bite. It was clear that this wasn’t your average pie. It was a masterpiece. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside the sauce had just the right tank and the toppings were fresh flavorful and generously layered. It was if you haven’t tried Poppy‘s pizza you’re seriously missing out. This is pizza. Perfection. I’ll be back soon and probably bring reinforcements.
