I was sitting at the bar and just finished my meal when a man who identified himself as the chef owner came up to me on the service side of the bar and started to interrogate me; where you from, what you do, what did you do after the Navy, Then he leans toward me over the bar and said rudely " WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE"?I was taken aback and confused... I asked what do you mean? I'm here eating!!He continued with his abrasive ignorant tone and said; "give me a break, you've been in here every night for the last week and all you get is a bloody mary?""Who are you working for?"The bartender was standing right next to him and I asked the bartender if this guy was being seriousHe just shrugged his shoulders and looked dumbfounded! The chef/owner stated in an abrasive and rude manner "yeah I'm serious! Who do you work for? "I asked him what the hell he was talking about? I just moved to Mississippi in November and into Jackson in January. I live 3 blocks from there! I'm retired. He said " yeah right, tell so&so I said hello!" And then he walked away. (I didn't here the name of the person he said to say hi to)The bartender was still standing there. I asked him what the hell was that all about? He said he had no idea..I asked the bartender if the chef was being serious or messing around? Then the chef/owner stepped out from behind the wall only a few feet away where he was hiding and listening to my response to his ignorant abusive behavior and stated "yeah I'm serious, I have eyes I'm aware of what goes on here, leave and don't come back!" I said ok got up and left the place.I will never again eat in that place. What is wrong with him that he thinks someone would be spying on him or furthermore what the hell does he do there that would make him so paranoid to believe he's worth being spied on??? And most of all to treat a patron a perfect stranger so badly!!!!!! I feel sorry for the next disabled veteran/cancer survivor just trying to enjoy a meal and a drink one to many nights in a row in that place!!!

Visited this location this past weekend! Cameron was our server and he was absolutely delightful! The drinks were delicious. We had the crab linguine, it was perfectly cooked with a great bite. The catch of the day was fluke and it so good. And the spicy collards were so flavorful! 10/10 no negative remarks at all !

Excellent restaurant and ambience. The homemade pasta and scallops were particularly good. Maybe a little more expensive than I was expecting, especially given the portion sizes, but a great place for a special occasion.

One of our new favorite restaurants in the Jackson area!! Daily crudo was Ahi tuna and it was absolutely delicious! The halibut and filet were phenomenal as well! Awesome cocktails as well! This will definitely be one of our go to spots!

My wife and I love this place. Great and friendly staff. Get the pappardelle, it's incredible!

Food was good but not great. For the price I expected better. Atmosphere was the most disappointing aspect. It was dark and unwelcoming. My party was seated in the only area with some light: right next to the open kitchen. I suppose that could be cool if there was some cooking to observe, but all I could see was the sous chefs gathered around a counter chatting. We were there early, and the dinner crowd hadn't arrived, so I can understand if they had little to occupy them. But why are you standing at a counter right over our table looking bored and chatting idly? It ruined the vibe of what should be one of Fondren's best restaurants. I'm a native of Jackson but I've lived in NoVa by D.C. for a decade now. I realize I am spoiled with options up here, but when I come home to visit, I really look forward to trying new places and hopefully seeing how Jackson is flourishing. This restaurant could do so much better than they are doing.

Pastas are homemade. The steaks are amazing. The atmosphere has a charming authentic feel and it’s located in a fun development.

I challenge you to find a better setting. This is a beautiful restaurant with a staff that is charming. Set in the beautiful Belhaven Town Center, this is a fun experience. I am particularly fond of the seasonal vegetables.

We have eaten here several times - each time better than the other. The sunflower oven boule, house made focaccia, garlic confit, are a great complement before during and after the meal. If you like burrata they do a fine version. Definitely keto friendly. They recently added agnello braised lamb, feta, salted red onion, garlic confit, to their menu. An excellent taste and mixture of ingredients. If you like lamb and feta this will tease your taste buds. Their lamb shank is awesome and full of flavor. The pappardelle had a very nice taste the cheeses were well blended. The lasagna, which is on the menu until today, was totally outstanding and should not even be I. The lash a category the flavors and tastes were exceptional. As for deserts, prior to this meal I wasn't extremely impressed with them. That has changed, the Satsuma Olive Oil Cake and Affogato were Devine. Definitely will be eaten again. Cocktails were very good.

Great place in Jackson MS. We come to jackson once a year during the holidays and we were pleasantly surprised with the food, ambience and drinks at Pulito. One of the top 5 places to eat in jackson, ms.

My first time eating here and it was a decent experience. The place is small, crowded, loud and distracting. The server did a good job of explaining the menu and acting cordial. I ordered the arancini and Bucatini pasta. I didn't realize the pasta was too small to be a meal. The food was tasty and well made, sadly I left hungry wanting tacos from the food truck outside. I doubt I will go back.

A nice intimate space with great food and service every time. Some odd my favorite dishes are the short rib, pappardelle and arancini.
