Order the hot hot chicken salad and the chicken tastes a day old. I usually look going to Rooster in the Fondren area but I think now I will start going to the Flowood, Ms. location. The chicken was dry and tasted like it was a day old. My last experience was when I ordered the 6 oz hamburger I received the 8 oz wasn’t good well done like I asked. I do t think I will be going back to the rooster in the fondren area.

The food doesn’t ‘rush’ out to you, and thank God because it is worth the time and effort they put into making literally everything delicious. My wife and I enjoyed everything we got: chicken, fries, nacho burger, coleslaw, and the mac-n-cheese.

I ordered pickup. The tenders were cooked a little too long. But it was fast and ready when I arrived. Parking is difficult on certain times of the day. But overall good.

Waited 40 minutes for our takeout burger and Caesar salad. Very indifferent service. Both were mediocre at best with sub quality ingredients and lack of flavor. Definitely will never be returning

I usually don't do burger joints, but was there for a birthday gathering. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. I was surprised to be asked how I wanted it cooked. The person who took my order was polite and service was fast. My burger was cooked to perfection, medium well done. It was juicy and not overly seasoned. I could actually taste the burger and it was delicious. I hardly ever eat beef but I will be coming back for another one of their burgers soon. Based on this first experience, if you're into beef and comfort food, I definitely recommend giving Rooster's Fondren a try.
