The Bean is one of my favorite stops whenever I’m in Jackson. Located right in the heart of the Fondren neighborhood, it offers the perfect mix of charm and energy. The atmosphere has that fun, cozy coffee shop vibe that makes it easy to relax, catch up with friends, or get a little work done. The drinks are always consistent and well-crafted, and the location makes it a convenient go-to spot. Anytime I visit Jackson, The Bean is always on my list—I highly recommend it for both locals and visitors. I wish there was a bean location in the Birmingham area!

the shop itself was amazing! the staff as well and the food perfect! the bystanders and some other patrons, not so much. you can really feel the divide of Fondren but I don’t care! the ignorance stares and flares were loud and I might be brown but my money is green and my God is omnipresent!! I’ll be back!!

Its one of my favorite places overall...old house converted to coffee shop. Coffee is great. Food options are good, my experience is good to ok food, but is nice to go with great coffee. The employees are always very nice.

I absolutely love The Bean! They always have decent coffee and fast service. My favorite part, though, is the open back room. Any moms with kiddos who visit can attest that that back room gives us the space to have coffee with friends without disturbing the other customers in the coffee house. 🙌🏼

The closest thing to European coffee I've had since visiting here from Austria. The drinks have a high-quality taste to them and the atmosphere of the place is super cute! Great place to read or get some work done on the laptop. Additionally, there's lots of fun local art work on display and the staff are very friendly. Unique place and a gem in Jackson, would highly recommend!
