Historical made from fresh ground beef, burgers. Usually twenty to thirty minutes to wait on most delicious hamburger in town. Near Jackson state university. Very much worth few minutes wait. Try it, guarantee you'll like it.. It's got to be good or they wouldn't still be in business after 30yrs. Family owned by the Stamps family. Parking is bit limited. Security guard on duty. It's a must try. They offer a double cheese burger but I've never heard of anyone being able to eat it all. One burger is plenty, especially with the amazing fresh cut fries. Best in town.

Parking: It can appear to be a little cramped and difficult to find a spot, but that can always be improved!

This is going to be a very subjective review. I looked up "burgers near me" on Google and Stamps Super Burgers had 4.7 stars. None of the other burger places were even close to that. I decided I had to give it a try. When you drive up, the place is very unassuming. When you walk in the door you are greeted by a chorus of voices who are the workers who are happily, cheerfully, busily working away. You get the kind of feeling that was displayed on "Cheers", it's clear that this is a neighborhood favorite. In fact one lady I talked to while waiting said she drives 30 minutes to get this food. The staff are cheerful and helpful. They are clearly working their tails off, but they are inundated at noontime (and probably other times too) but it was the kind of experience that you won't forget. I heartily recommend this restaurant, even if you have to wait 30 minutes to get your food. Thank you Stamps for the memory.

Pretty good chicken salad but no cheese they charged me 60 cents extra for a slice of cheese n didn’t bother to cut it up for me but good food still got my support but it ain’t no salad if it don’t have cheese on it from my perspective…..
Yum yum. Got a super turkey burger. I probably could have eaten the double, but not necessarily a great idea.
Fries have their own flair with seasoning.
People are so nice and shout to welcome you in.

Food... we can't say say enough about the burgers. We had the Stamps single cheeseburger, and the Stamps single turkey burger. We also had hot wings, sprinkled with lemon pepper. The burgers are now in the top 3 of burgers we've ever had. All I can say about the burger, is just go get one! The wings were good, but not amazing. They were very big and just a good simple wing flavor. The fries the fries the fries... they're fresh cut potatoes sprinkled with lemon pepper, and a small is more than enough to feed 2 people. I could eat the fries everyday.
The service- we were told up front that there would be about a 45 minute wait. There were about 6 people ahead of us, but I guess the trick is to call your order in, because a ton of people who were call ins came and went before we got our food well over an hour later. Most places prioritize the money that's in front of them (in-house customers), instead of money that's on the way (call-ins), and stop taking call-ins until they get the in-house line down. That's the reason the service is only 3 stars.
The atmosohere... this place is in the middle of neighborhood and some of the other patrons seemed sketchy, however, they had armed security inside. Armed security in a hamburger joint makes a statement.
Overall, the burgers are amazing, but not worth the amount of time we had to wait, so they should have a cutoff for the call-in orders when there are paying customers INSIDE. We'd definitely go back, but would have to strongly consider if the wait time is worth it at that time.
Why they got so much mustard and pickles on this burger? It’s a no for me. Soggy fries. Everything tastes like the same flavor. It’s been years and it will be more years
