This is a very nice location at University of MS Medical Center (UMMC). The employees are extremely nice and professional. I don’t think I’ve ever met any so eager to help with a smile. This is exactly what customers need especially since most are visiting or staying with a loved one in hospital.
I highly recommend dining here if at UMMC or in the area.

46 mins at Subway.
I came into the walmart subway at 7:50.
Calmly waited outside the store as I know they open at 8.
Watched what I beleive is the store GM. Count nickles for 13 mins.
8:03: The employee looks up from the change for the first time, cknowledging me almost Incredulous like how could I possibly be there.
Mind you it is now 8:03 the store is open and not a single thing is ready. The food line is not out, he did not preheat the oven or the toaster.
He asks me if I'd like to order.
I walk over and start the order politely, I know it's early.
He grabs the bread and some meat and cheese form the walk-in.
He pre-heats the toaster.
This takes maybe 10 mins.
In this time he simply stares at the toaster. Occasionally, looking back at me this is starting to get very awkward.
He does not use this time to start building the line he stands there for like 10 minutes, perhaps pondering the meaning of the universe.
After my sandwich is toasted he looks around in what seemed profound uncertainty as to what happens next. He makes a full circle before asking me what else I want. I list my vegetables and he gets them from the walk- in.
We finally check start the check out and I try to use some a gift card I was just gifted. It doesn't work. I ask if they except gifts cards ,as they do sell them. There are some right in front of me.
He does not answer my question. He agian is Incredulous like he has no idea how any of this works. He keeps smiling and rambles about the buttons and this is how it works.
At this point I am quite frustrated. Probably visible so.
I almost walk out as I only came because I had a gift card.
I buy the sandwich on my Debit card and leave.
I checked the gift card when I got home. It is in fact loaded and active.
I leave its 8:33 it took a full 30 mins to get one sandwich.
This location is incompetent and appears to not except gift cards.
Don't waste your time. Go to a different location.

As someone that frequents this establishment, it's disappointing when I end up with less than great food. I understand some items don't come with much, but the dipper is bare minimum supposed to have double cheese and this looks like barely the single amount. Why spend the money to get a dipper that's just bread??

My husband who is admitted into the hospital and had procedures done on him all day yesterday decided he had enough strength to walk to subway there in the hospital and get him a sandwich since he had not eaten anything that day. He had the girl make him a steak and cheese subway and got ready to pay and she said “oh I can’t break a $100 bill.” He was apologetic and said that’s all he had to pay for his sandwich and she said “ ok well I’ll eat it and slid that sandwich down added bacon to it wrapped it back up and put it in her purse. I know she couldn’t have given it to him for free but she could have kept that she was going to eat his sandwich to herself! I mean come on show some compassion jeez! The man had procedures done on him all day and was weak and hungry! That was very greedy and rude of her! She could have just kept that to herself, that she was about to steal the sandwich and eat it herself.
Actually the best customer service I have ever seen from a subway!!! Great job guys keep it up

The lightskin gay guy at the register on 5/30/24 around 11:15 was very rude. Had an attitude the moment I came to the register. I guess I would be upset to if I made sandwiches all day and came home smelling like meat & Italian herb and cheese bread.

Worst customer service ever. Old and not fresh food.I was the only one on the line and had to wait for about 5 minutes while one of the ladies was slighting meat and other was making pizzas and sandwiches. The sandwich lady was extremely rude, angry and aggressive with asking questions and behaving like I owe her.I ordered small #17 but was charged for large one. But at that point I didn’t care about the price, I just wanted to get my food and leave.The vegetables were not fresh, tomatoes were old and dry, lettuce had some brownish colored pieces.I have to see this kind of team, service, law quality food at the UMMC giving the worst experience and stressing patients out.
