I was searching for live music and this place came up. We came out for brunch but were both disappointed. Food was awful and took forever to get. The speaker was right by our table and some of the vulgar music being played by a DJ made us want to leave. We didn't even finish our meal.
The experience was great. It was our first time there. Ms Cynthia was the best. We will be returning.
The food was immaculate. The service had staff was very nice and friendly. The bartender is amazing as well very nice place to relax and enjoy your time.
Excellent establishment accompanied with the perfect taste. Our table indulged in fried green tomatoes with an excellent sauce, a shrimp quasadilla, and chicken quasadilla. All in which were perfect! Exceeded our expectations. Loved the staff. Layout is inviting. Would definitely recommend and will return, inviting a larger group.
Our experience @ Social21 was amazing. From the greeting at the front door to the meal, the service, the ambiance and entertainment left nothing to be desired. The girls and I will definitely come again. Thanks for such an wonderful experience.
Really enjoyed my night out. This was my first time there; however, it will not be my last.
This the worst Marriott that we have ever been in, and we have been in many, many of their hotels (platinum member). The chemical smell in the room was so bad that my husband's nose started stinging and I started coughing after just a few minutes. I went to the front desk, and they were very gracious to let us check out without charging us. We moved across town to a different Marriott that was great. The building is old, and worn out. Not up to Marriott's standards.
All I can say is RUN while you can! !!!This is the Nastiest, Dirtiest hotel in Jackson Mississippi. This property makes the Motel 6 look like the Taj Mahal, The website is misleading to say the least I'm really surprised Marriott is allowing them to still be open , nothing works everything is dated the carpet is nasty and stained the laundry or workout facilities doesn't work the hot tub doesn't work the front door barley close I felt unsafe. I was scheduled to stay 10 days unfortunately I checked out after 2days considering the carpet was mildew and stained and I had nose bleeding every night SMH! I called and complained Several times the AGM Bella did call back once but never called back again the G eneral manager Grace Kelly who never call To resolve the issue, I guess she's busy working on her raggedy hotel SMH . The silver lining is regardless of how nasty this property was the front desk staff and housekeepers were very nice and professional if it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't lasted those 2 days. Get it together Courtyard or else I won't EVER come back again.
This was the filthiest hotels I’ve ever been to. The broken lampshade, cracked glass in the pictures, the fabric stained and tearing off the couch. The mans whiskers on the door frame, urine on bathroom floor, one trash can, no pool towels or extra towels or spare sheets for the sofa bed to be found. It hadn’t been vacuumed. The spilled liquid dried down the door. It was a never take your shoes off hotel (even in the shower). 🤮 never again.
I’ve been a BonVoy Member for 8.5 years, I’ve written hundreds of reviews for hotels. This place by far was the worse experience of my life. See photos of my bed moldy! Nats infested room 111. $2 for banana in the morning what a joke but then on the evenings you host a popcorn night on Wednesday and had the same fruit for free. The front desk staffer when I checked in on May 22nd was more worried about ordering her food than checking me in. The lady that made the kettle popcorn on Wednesday was really nice really excited about the popcorn that was really fresh that day.

Business is closed and is still listed as open . Ruined what would have been a nice Mother's Day weekend
PL = admittedly - it's a dump. I've stayed b4 and it's never changed. Now wall are peeling. Shower dripped all night, no plug in the sink. Light in the bathroom doesn't work so I showered with the door open. But hey - it was $50 less than anything else and the people were AMAZING. Bistro, front desk. And here's the other thing - there are filled sanitizers everywhere and even at the bistro, you have to ask for sugar packs. They don't want people breathing on them. This tells me they care about cleanliness. So it's sort of a dump but looks like make construction coming - certainly on the outside. Yet I would stay again!!
We knew going in that this hotel was being remodeled but decided to take a leap of faith as we were able to get a couple of nights on an unusually low amount of Marriott points. There is a lot of work going on and it definitely needs a remodel as it is an older somewhat worn hotel - but we still had a pretty nice stay. The remodel work wasn't really a bother, and the staff was very efficient and helpful. The location is really good as it is easy to access shopping and restaurants in Madison/Ridgeland as well as in core Jackson.
The hotel staff was great. I had no problems checking in and everything went smoothly. Everything was clean and the beds were super comfy I slept so good. The hotel rooms were spacious and just what I needed for a quick one night stay.
Place was not up to Marriott standards, worst Marriott ever , needs updated , carpet was stained and dirty , ceiling was peeling and was dropping things on the furniture from above , curtains were nasty and linens were old and stained (they appeared clean but stained), Lobby looked ok and staff very nice but overall the place was bad , a lot of noise outside at night , people drinking and partying in the parking lot(not guest that it appeared)
