The Mighty Crab (Jackson)

Food was delicious and timely. Felicia our server went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. She was patient, kind and offered suggestions. There was five us. 2 of us had the oyster basket they were cooked to perfection. One had the Crab leg and shrimp boil. She stated it was delicious and plenty of food. The other two had the catfish basket. They were more than satisfied with their selection and stated all was good. Sides we had included the Cajun fries, sweet potato fries, hush puppies, and corn on the cob. More than enough to eat and delicious. The garlic bread was to die for. This was our first trip there and we will return. Three of us were from out of state and when they come back to visit, we will take them again. Compliments to the chef. If you’ve never been go, and if you have been, I know you have already returned. We are already planning to return and have the crab leg boil.

Build one everywhere! Food was awesome! Jacquez, our server, was awesome (hope I spelled his name right). He had the best smile! Our hotel recommended this place and she did us right! So much good food! Don’t walk…run to eat here!!

I’ve been coming to The Mighty Crab in Ridgewood Court weekly, and I can honestly say it’s become one of my favorite spots. The food is consistently delicious—especially the crawfish and shrimp, which are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.

They offer great weekly specials that make it easy to enjoy an amazing seafood meal without breaking the bank. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal with friends or family.

If your looking for a real treat please try the “MR RICKY”” you will be in HEAVEN.
The service is top-notch, and I have to give a special shoutout to Mr. Rick. He’s an outstanding server—attentive, friendly, and always makes sure everything is just right.

If you’re in the area and love seafood, The Mighty Crab is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Best crab I've ever had! Get the mighty seasoning!

My husband and I were looking for a nice place to eat snowcrab legs while in the area. It narrowed it down to two places. We picked this one because of the reviews and location to our hotel. We could not have been more pleased. Plenty of parking, clean area, and nice restaurant. We were seated as soon as we arrived and Jasmine was our waitress. The atmosphere was quite, very well decorated, and lots to look at. She was very friending, prompt, and cared for every need. Our food arrived quickly. There was plenty of food and the seasoning was spot on (not too over powering but enough to enjoy the taste). My husband usually uses a lot of butter but the garlic butter sauce it was cooked in it made it just prefect. He didn't even touch the extra butter. My husband and I have eaten crab legs at a lot of places all over the US, but this is our favorite so far. The price was very reasonable for a nice sit-down dinner, not to mention crablegs. Give this local business a try! You won't be disappointed.

I travel a lot in the Ms area and no matter when I come through, I always try to make a stop here at The mighty crab. The food is fantastic as well as the service. Make sure you stop by when you're in the area, they will love to see you.

Great seafood boils, really good prices and daily price specials

My wife loves the seafood here. I'm not a seafood person, but I really enjoy the catfish and chicken wings here. The service is always A+ food top tier

My family and I stopped in while driving back from spring break, and our experience was absolutely unacceptable. We waited 20 minutes without being served, while multiple tables seated after us—right within arm’s reach received service. I hate to believe this was due to race, but my husband is Spanish, and I am Black. The way we were ignored felt intentional. To make matters worse, as we left, the hostess laughed which only added to the insult. This was truly a disappointing and unacceptable experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for fair and respectful service.

Great service our waitress was super helpful and Mr.Ricky was super nice if I’m back in Jackson MI I will for sure be coming back highly recommend to seafood lovers!

Happened upon this place while in town for a soccer tourney. Wanted some seafood and boy did we get what we wanted. Hostess was funny and friendly and our server Risha was amazing. She showed us all our options, asked questions to help us decide and helped us order to our liking. Everything we ate melted in our mouths. Best seafood and meal we have had in a very long time. The general manager stopped by to chat and thank us for coming in. We hope to bring our whole team back for a team dinner. Next time we’re in town this will be our go to place for sure. Can’t say enough about The Mighty Crab, thanks for having us!!

Food was excellent. Server Tye was superb!!!. But after my coworker and I finished our food, I noticed a roach on her chest and immediately the staff reported it to the manager Mr. Ricky. He came over and stated he has no control over the pest and gave the impression that we needed to leave immediately to keep from alarming the other customers about the pest issue. Mr. Ricky is very rude and unprofessional. This was my second unpleasant encounter with him while dining at Mighty Crab. Customers should not be treated unfairly because they encounter pest while dining and they definitely shouldn't be given a hint to leave in order to avoid unwarranted attention from other customers that may also find it a nuisance and health concern that pest continue to crawl around their dining area. A waiter finally came and killed the roach stating she only did it because "they were taking pictures". I am appalled that Mr. Ricky and his staff got angry with us for having an issue with roaches while at this restaurant. Upon leaving, I asked the Hostess for the owners name and she stated that he worked in the kitchen and that he didn't speak English with an attitude. We both definitely will not be going back to this restaurant.
