Have been there several times for takeout. The food has always been good. However the last time I went and ordered brisket it was tough. Wish they served burnt ends. Will be going back.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And the food was absolutely AMAZING!!! I even had to order a large takeout order before leaving due to me not being from the area. I am making this my new lunch/dinner spot whenever I am passing through. LOVED IT!!!
Great food! We came from out of town and loved it! Huge selection of craft beer. Reasonably priced and you will be full!
Kid-friendliness: Many outside seating tables which I think kids enjoy more. They have activities like chalk and hula hoops and coloring for the kids! Went with 4 and 6 year old. They enjoyed it
While traveling across the country, we stopped in Jackson, Mississippi and ate at this restaurant. I don’t think I’ve ever tried Mississippi barbecue, but it was a little spicy and ribs were dry. I guess this Texan prefers her barbecue better. Prices were a little high. Although we did get to see the downtown area of Jackson.

This was one of the higher-rated places around so stopped in while in town. Excellent pulled-pork sandwich and mac n cheese. Boudin balls are different, first time I’ve had them but I’d order them again.
Excellent, friendly service and ample seating. Would eat here again.

On a business trip and was told by many of the locals that this is THE spot for bbq.
Atmosphere and staff was a 10/10, but the food based on what myself and my 2 colleagues expected was subpar.
Food was a bit lukewarm (very delicious, but not hot or all that warm). Ribs that one of us ordered were rock hard.
The owner came out to greet us after a complaint was made (we are not the complaint type, but ribs were inedible) and replaced the ribs with fresh hot ones. That part of the experience turned our dining around, and was nice to see how accommodating they were.
