This place is such a gem! The coffee house feels like it's from book! I recommend the scones.

I ordered everything vegan on the menu today: apple pie, blueberry scone, and coffee cake. Stopping here is definitely worth it for the baked goods. The apple pie was surprisingly good! Updated from previous review on 2025-03-02

First off this place is amazing and the atmosphere is so chill. I purchased a sausage roll and let me tell you, the roll was buttery and the sausage was warm and had a hit of spice. You must try and get the honey hot sauce to go with the sausage roll. Very very tasty. I also purchased a cold brew with espresso. The coffee is nice and strong just how I like it. 10/10 recommend. Come check this place out. You won’t be disappointed! ??

Located half a mile from the Civil Rights Museum is Urban Foxes. It’s located on a hill haha and is a very colorful and eccentric home that’s been flipped. You walk up the stairs (watch your step really) and you walk in and the register is to the left.

Google was a little unreliable in this capacity as it claimed breakfast here but they just do coffee and pies. Should’ve looked at their website fwiw. However they do have a seasonal menu and I got a pork sandwich.

Each room in the house is now repurposed and has seating. Each room has a little bit of a different vibe and it’s a cool spot! We sat ourselves in the dining room and drank our POTENT coffee. Now our food took long enough that we were getting restless but it finally arrived

Pork Sandwich 8/10 - now since this is seasonal it may not be there when you go! However this was really nice. The bread was crunchy and as you can see the cheese was cheesing lol.

If you want to be hippie and go drink some quality coffee in a neat spot. This is a go to!

The location, the staff, the food, and of course the coffee! Everything was amazing! I’m visiting from out of state and the staff were super helpful in helping me choose food to get for brunch and let me tell you! They didn’t steer me wrong! The Apple sausage pie was a huge surprise in how good it was, I would highly recommend it!

After spending time at MS Farmers Market we made our way to Urban Foxes after locating it on the map for something nearby. What a pleasant surprise to find this little gem! A beautiful house converted into a coffee house with fresh baked goods. It’s a wonderful little place to have coffee/tea with a great book or do little work. The two staff members were pleasant. Wish I’d taken more pictures of the inside!

Old home converted into a cute, quirky coffee house with lots of seating space in the rooms. A large outdoor patio as well! The baked goods were phenomenal, all made in house !!

Best key lime pie ever!!! Great cappuccino with oat milk and vanilla flavor. Eclectic decor, nice staff, feels very young. Definitely coming back.

The only con: No handicap entrance. I hope they add a ramp soon. My grandma and her friends love the pies when we bring them and would love to go themselves, but physically cannot access Urban Foxes.

Dietary restrictions: Vegan apple pie, vegetarian dishes, alternative milk options

Wheelchair accessibility: None :-(

Very cool hidden gem. Old house with a coffee shop inside. The breakfast eggs/sausage combo was fantastic and their coffee was amazing. Super fun find while visiting the city and waiting for a meeting at the VA. The staff was friendly and made great recommendations.

I visited Urban Foxes yesterday morning on my way put of town and I am so happy I did. I fell in love with the atmosphere and the feel of the home this business is in. I tried an Iced coffee and a blueberry scone, that was made fresh that morning. It was delicious. Very Child, family and pet friendly as well. I highly recommend and will be back.

If you're visiting or driving through, definitely stop in to support this local cafe. Beautiful space for coffee/tea dates, working, and studying. They have lots of beverages and a small menu with some light breakfast items. Plenty of baked goods, but only a few vegan options which rotate. When I visited, I tried a cookies and cream scone and the blueberry/ lemon pie. The scone was good.. buttery, crispy outer and soft inner dough.. not overly sweet, which I liked. The blueberry lemon pie was good, but it's more filling than crust, especially since the topping is a crumble. I'd return to try more baked goods, and hope they'll also grow their vegan menu.
